He got Polaris to pretend to be the parent company to allay suspicions. You could've added that Kim Lip looks like Taeyeon or that Jinsoul could pass as Krystal's child/cousin. Hence, SM's funding towards Loona is also inspired by SM idols he discovered. Solo and unit songs can be more vasatile and experimental compare to find a perfect idol song that match with public+fans taste and fit for bigass group where everyone has to share tiny line and how it look in choreo.
