CLC said once during an interview that even the salon peeps get shocked because they're exponentially friendlier/closer than most girl groups. They trained together for a long time and whilst I'm sure they quarrel a little behind the scenes, I think for the most part they're all very close friends. There is no other group that has such a strong and lasting loyalty and bonds to each other as Shinhwa had exhibited. They broke out of the restrictions placed upon them by the industry and proved everyone wrong. When SM offered them different contracts, they jumped out to say no because they wanted to have a fair share for each member. It took them a long time to fight for their own rights and names, and they could have easily separated when they're off to the army or gone full solo. It shows that they've really put in the effort to stick with each other and respect one another's opinions and ideas when crafting their own individual schedules, so that they won't clash with their group's comeback. If this isn't the ideal friendship, I don't know what else could be! NU'EST is another one!! Definitely, they've been through so much together at a young age. While they have their own circle of friends, they only had each other when they were off to China or Japan to 'break into the market'. Aron could have left if he wasn't staying for his brothers and his dream - and he could have easily stayed in the US during produce, but he insisted on returning to Korea and support his members even if it meant that he had to be hidden away for the whole of 6 months when produce was airing because he couldn't say anything. Baekho, JR and Ren wouldn't have been smiling so widely if they weren't proud that Minhyun made it despite themselves failing to made the cut. Minhyun wouldn't have cried so hard if he wasn't feeling at lost or apologetic that he was the only one that 'survived' the survival show as the fate of NU'EST was rendered unknown. I don't know how it would change in the future, but you can clearly see how they cherished each other even more with passing time that they're truly like a family, even if they have different hobbies and personalities or random squabbling (Aron...let Mingi live and stop stealing his lotion). These five boys had given their all to stay together and fulfill their same dream, how could they not be close? Adding on, I feel like the current lineup of AS girls are super close too. I mean, looking at how they all manage to find time to attend each other's events (even Jooyeon and Jungah would appear at Nana's movie premiere, etc etc), they certainly did try their best to keep the AS name alive no matter what. (I think it was cheongdamdong?) on legendary jamong's sstp, jjong talked about how he walked home with taemin during school day. "my house was in dongdaemun, i usually got off at dongdaemun stadium station and walked home. on the way home, there was food street. so with taemin, I eat gamjatang very often". meaning they used to live close too? but not the same neighbor BC key once talked abt it on problematic men (JH : dongdamun, TM : banghakdong). idk I think there are more times when they were mentioning about this, but I'm too lazy to go thru my messy SHINee folders lol about their brother, I know they are close because on their old acc, team's brother called Minho's brother by "minseok-ie hyung" and vice versa like they were very close idk about team's brother school, but Minho's brother attend Seoul nation university, like one of the most prestigious uni in Korea.
