Kiba didn't have any sort of character arc so it would've been kind of pointless, and then everyone would've been complaining about Kishi killing characters off for the sake of killing them off. And Akamaru would've been sad.

No, but I'm still pissed that he died. Why Neji of all people!? It felt so unnecessary. None of the other important characters died. Pretty much everyone survived the war EXCEPT Neji.

Fair fair but kishi in all honesty did this to bring Hinata and Naruto together but it felt so forced and Tenten is single because of that decision plus Kiba is a background character in Boruto at this point.
