Hi,

I'm thinking of getting my first tattoo, I've been thinking about getting one for a very long time and really want one. My problem is that I'm indecisive and I just want to have backup.

Basically my question is do you think a tattoo like this on my ankle would be removable by laser treatment? I've done a bit of research and have found out that black ink is easiest to remove etc, but I just want to know if anyone on here knows if its pretty likely one like this would be removable.

You can always get those non-permanent tatoos that last about six months.

Oh really, do you have a link you can link me too please, I've never heard of them before.

Thanks for the replies everyone.

Why get it in the first place if you think you might want it removed? It's a permanent tattoo. Get a henna tattoo then if you don't want it to be permanent (A+++ suggestion right here)

I don't get why people get tattoos tho :/ I find it weird to have like a star on your skin lol but it's your body so...

Don't get one if you're already thinking of removing it anyway.  :imstupid:

Laser treatment is not effective in all cases, so it could very well be that it does not work on your skin. Not sure why people here are claiming tattoos are easily removable, lol. Do some research before making stupid claims.

Another thing to consider is that tattoos on feet and hands tend to turn ugly quite fast because of the constant friction.

It would be removable but you'd probably have a scar and also I hear it hurts waaaay worse than actually getting the tattoo in the first place.

If you're unsure about it right now wait a month without thinking about it and then ask yourself again if you want it.

I have a small heart tattoo on my wrist, before I got it done I drew it on in biro for about a year to confirm I was still happy with it.

You could try getting a little home henna kit and redoing it regularly to ensure you def want to go ahead.
