And how do you study/learn? School, or otherwise?

I'm fluent in my mother tongue (duh), English, but since living in Paris, I can speak French to an okay level (conversational but people gotta be slow), Japanese to a conversational level. I can also read Korean, but speak it at a beginner level, and I can speak basic Sinhala (can't attempt to read that shit tho lmao)

I want to learn Spanish too, but. shrug.

What about y'all?

I speak fluent danish (my mother tongue) and English. I speak kinda conversational German, but my vocabulary is kind of limited. I am trying to teach myself a bit of Korean, but since I’m kinda busy with other stuff, I’m making slow progress. I’m also learning to read Latin and Ancient Greek, but thankfully I don’t have to speak those, only read and translate. So I’m learning in total 6 languages, including 4 that I want to speak, spanning 3 different alphabets.

completely fluent in Estonian and English

learned German at school but can't form meaningful sentences. I recognize most words and know the translation of them but I'm not able to hold a conversation in German

I can read hangul but quite slowly. song lyrics are much easier to read because most words are already familiar to me
