OMG, I just realized something about Winner's Mino!

Back about six months ago I watched a series on Netflix called "The Strongest KPOP Survival" about a girl that joins an all-male KPOP group called M2 Junior.  The show itself was okay, but I thought the lead character girl and the actor that played Kibum were pretty good in their roles (even though Kibum's English dialogue was cringey lol).

Fast forward to yesterday and I was watching Winner's latest performance on Inkigayo.  I'm not a Winner stan and I've never noticed before, but maybe because of his hairstyle or something I finally put 2 + 2 together and realized "Hey, Mino is Kibum!!"  Sure enough, to get validation I searched Youtube and voila!

 

 

 

I loved when Winner interacted with my bias groups TVXQ! and Super Junior, I will start listening to more of their music.

 

 

 

Because of an old KDrama I've gotten more into a KPOP group lol  Thanks KPOP Survival lol

Part of his acting history lol honestly he did a lot of stuff before getting into YG, almost debuted in Block B and was part of another group that disbanded. It was truly miraculous he managed to debut with Winner and gain this much success.

no you can watch it now it took me some time to watch it too, I think it was during WIN era someone posted about it and that's when I found out lol I only watched Mino cuts and his storyline was akhgfcdfjk lmao just watch it

Yeah a lot of IC don't know about this show because it was before WINNER . I hope that he will get an opportunity to act in a movie/ drama again and Thank you for giving WINNER a chance .

I found out Mino through that drama. I was constantly asking myself why he wasn't an official rapper when he was so good.Thank God he successfully debuted in Winner after all the things he went through.

I knew because I'm an Mblaq fan (and Mir sister was the lead, they made a cameo, so I watched) but I didn't recognize him until someone mentioned it after WIN. For me, it's part of his dark past because that drama was really cringey! xD

 

Glad you got curious of Winner! Actually, a lot of Cassiopeas became ICs, I'm not sure why but the numbers were quite high (while being multifandom, obv)

I watched that Drama back in 2012 when it was on TV and Mino was one of my favorite characters so I checked out BoM and didn't really feel them but one of the major reasons I stanned Team A on WIN from the start was because Mino was on the team. I eventually just fell for everyone on the team but he was a big reason I liked them.

Actually nobody is sure but his dad didn't accept the terms of the contract that Mino was offered back then so he rejected it and left . Block B debuted shortly after that but they weren't allegedly paid by the company for over a year,  they sued them and left .

I watched this drama way before I knew who Mino was and after WIN it took me a while to peut 2 and 2 together and realised it was the same person but I didn't remember much of what happened in the drama just that it was so cringy. I might watch it again one day

He left. But the terms of the contract were just super shitty and even Block B ended up leaving and suing the company. You can watch this video and see why their bond is so strong

 

Block B and Winner fans are also close for that reason

Oh wow!  I didn't know Mir's sis was the lead actress.  I did see MBLAQ in one of the scenes where they bumped into the juniors at the Entertainment office lol

 

The only other actor/actress I recognized in the drama was Eunjung from Jewelry who played the female idol that was the antagonist.  She was perfect as a bitchy primadonna lol
