Honest to god I really need KPOP idols to stop talking about black people

Just please. Stop talking about us. Because every single time a KPOP idol mentions a black person it's either

 

A. Stupid stereotype based joke or assumption

B. Igornant

or C. Racist

 

Like I'm sick of seeing some koreans fall over themselves when they see a black person and break out in "YO MAN YO YO YO" mode like idiots. And what if we started mocking asians every single time we met them? 

Like at this point I am just getting so sick and tired of kpop. When I was younger I just accepted it but now that I'm older and actually value my time, and money I realize how none of this is worth it, honestly. They will take almost every aspect of black culture then turn around and make us into a caricature. And it sucks to know that if I ever met a lot of these idols they'd probably just see me as another stereotype ala Wendy since according to her all black women are ghetto and sassy. Or we all look like Kunta Kinte because we have big lips according to Chen. Or we're all scary according to Din Din.

 

It's like what am I doing? I really am here looking like boo boo the fool supporting and fawning over people that look down on me. 

 

Honestly, an apology goes such a long way with me because i've made so many mistakes. Which is why I commend Mamamoo and Taeyeon because they did some shit but they owned up to it.

Same I feel like this too but it's like I already put so much time, money, and effort into kpop and now I just dont know what to do. Im just literally so sick of this. I feel like almost every freaking kpop group has said something ignorant or racist at this point. It's ridiculous. As for Chen I just hope those EXO-ls get to him and explain why he shouldn't say things like that. I know Chen is not a racist, ignorance is just the norm in SK. Im sure if Chen learns about how hurtful those kind of comments can be he will apologize.
