She did some schooling in Japan, from Seoul, only child, & plays the flute.

 

Revealed as new AS member and debuted in their Japan tour in April 2012. She was the 2nd bagel girl (sexy, baby face) https://www.

 

 

 

Proper debut with AS' Flashback on June 21 '12. She goes on to release First Love w/ the group, as well as their Kor. & Jap. compilation albums, their several fanmeets in Thailand, Taiwan, & Japan

 

 

 

Her major moments in her AS career were two Kor. maxi-singles, a full Jap. album, tours in China & Japan, and participating in Beauty Bible variety show. Final promotion with group is in Japan 2015 w/ Shine from BEST album

 

In June/July 2015, she debuts as a DJ, AS group activities come to an end due to financial difficulties. She is still dj-ing fairly often even until now as a career while doing the odd idol job.

 

 

 

This includes endorsing for Japanese brands Cordajour 3-in-1 shampoo & Surariyell dietary supplement the same year. She also appeared in Kye Bum Zu's Give It 2 U MV later that year.

 

 

 

Come 2016, we see Kaeun continue dj-ing at festivals and clubs as a living. In the summer, she appears on OnStyle's Get It Beauty w/ some P101 girls and later on Esquire magazine's Oct issue, her first solo photoshoot.

 

 

In the interview, she mentions her love of music & being in front of a crowd as her current passion, while waiting for offers for acting, her first passion before music. She was an actress first much like her bandmate Uee.

Soon after, she gets her first notable role in the new idol drama The [email protected], based on a Japanese video game. It's a side character in a fictional girl group Red Queen. We see the beginnings of her acting career

 

 

The show runs in the spring to summer months of 2017 on Amazon Prime & SBS, her role Nakyung being a two-faced villain of sorts and rival of the show's protagonists. Sadly it garners no attention.

 

 

 

For the rest of 2017, we receive some Instagram lives, a great After School reunion years in the making at Nana's bday party, a second smaller reunion at Jungah's wedding photoshoot, and a third at Nana's movie premiere.

 

 

Another year ends & there's much talk about her future as well as other AS members with contract ends fast approaching. Kaeun takes new photos for a renewed profile on Pledis' site among others & does a shoot w/ bandmates.

 

 

But Pledis lists her as an actress on their site, and along with her mother's interview with the BBC for a Kpop documentary, all indicates she's done w/ being an idol. Fans brush aside her practice room pics as nothing.

 

 

So far, no word on Kaeun's contract with Pledis, but most evidence suggests she's staying put atm. She's shown no change of heart in dj-ing as her main source of income and looks to be pursuing acting full-time as well.

 

Of her most recent news, Kaeun has graduated with an undergrad in broadcast and entertainment from Dongduk Women's University back in Feb of this year. She's also made an appearance at Seoul Fashion Week 2018 w/ last month.

I mean i knew she was added shortly after joining cause of her vocals but they always gave her non-existent lines or lines way out of her usual vocal range that's high-pitched and squeaky while her tone could do so much better.

 

 

 

But yes Kaeun bb, you cn do this!!! I'm gonna watch it for her ; ~ ;
