I knew IU would prove the netizens wrong. I'm glad the director stuck with casting IU for the role of Ji An.

Oh I thought it was another cliched drama, perhaps I should give it a chance then.

You definitelly should. The drama is really well done, plot is superinteresting, characters are relatable, IU is also doing great job (like really great) even though people constantly call her bad actress.

I don't get it. What's wrong if it was a love line?

This drama is amazing and so far hasn't done anything to make it seem like love line between the leads?????dont get why people keep running with that. Its more of a human to human connection tbh. But im so happy IU accepted the offer she's become one of my favourite actresses just because of of how beautifully she portrays Ji an. I wasn't expecting much from her but damn she really stealing the spotlight imo even with all these older actors.

You really are:cry: This drama is anything but cringy its a shame your gonna pass up on a drama just because of the title imo

I am a weak and vain soul who judge a book by it's cover. But it's alright, bb. I am hanging on and I still love you.

fucking hell.

all of this because people can't grasp a relationship between two adults of opposite genders which isn't romantic???

i hate that there's a shitstorm which whatever iu chooses to do and that she knows it too.

so sad she almost gave up this drama because of it and awful still that the director and writer and rest of the hardworking cast and crew have to deal with negative press which is based on falsities ..  mad mad madddd

literally nothing tbh. they're both adults and if this was a different style of drama with the same struggles of these characters still being present it wouldnt be even a little out of place that something romantic would transpire. I understand people's concerns re age in general life (older man, young woman) or excessive portrayals of this dynamic on screen .. but it wouldnt feel out of place / its just life boo

also iu has this whole unnecessary lolita controversy which is utter bull but its stuck and it continues to be referenced in everything the poor girl does
