When he raps in Vroom Vroom, did anyone else think his voice sounded deeper? Is it normal to sound deeper when we rap?

This is his rap.... sorry, I don't know how to link youtube videos here...

PS: Vroom Vroom killed me.... why is it so good? I don't even like raps! CBX is bias wrecking me!

It's normal to sound deeper because people tend to get closer to the mic to use the proximity effect

Oh! Thanks for letting me know!

His normal speaking voice is deep so dave.png you can clearly hear the contrast here

Anw I wouldn't really call that rapping, but it's kpop so imstupid.png

yeah... his speaking voice is deeper, but Idk... I thought it was a little different somehow

And yeah, I know its not really rap... but its still close to rap... I guess that's why I liked it...same with Kyungsoo's 'rap' in Chill... haha

He still sounds like his usual self to me here tho. The only one time he sounds different imo singing in lower register on record is Overdose Kr version, his first line in the second verse. But the vocals for that song is quite heavily processed so that might be the reason why

Ngl I had ksoo's sing-talk part in Chill in mind too, because both made me :megusta::megusta:
