What is your opinion on fansite goods?

As I'm sure a lot of you know, it's pretty standard for fansites to periodically release various types of goods throughout the year, whether it's to fund their 'operations' or just to make money off other fans.

I've honestly always wondered what i-fans think of these goods.

Do you buy them? If yes/no, why?

If yes, what kinds do you buy? (Photobooks, slogans, photocards, stickers, etc.)

If no, why? And would you if you could?

Personally, I've never seen the point of cheering slogans, and I've never bothered with non-official photocards. But photobooks...that's my weakness right there. Even if they're horribly expensive, they're so damn pretty unsure.png

i used to be really into them when i was a young teen, although i've never bought any of them. when it'SYou was still running and released fangoods i'd always want them. now i don't care for them and i'd rather not bother with them either. it's cool but i just find it cringey now, especially when they include things like calendars and cheer slogans... no thnx.

I don't have a problem with it.

It's not cheap traveling and taking photos of idols. Also some of them organizing projects and etc.

The goods I've seen are great quality.

Anywho I don't buy them tho

If I lived in Korea, maybe I would lol

im planning to join a group order for some fansite goods. tbh they look better than back in 2013. like more cute/pretty stuff. i especially am more interested in the fansite slogan goods (which sometimes come with a transparent fan, some photocards, and some other goods).

i used to be against buying fansite goods but now that i have money to spend....well lets just say my EXO transparent fans are growing

I don’t buy them because I have no use for such things but they spend a lot of money chasing idols around from country to country and they need to make that money back somehow so I don’t mind them selling these goods to those who’ll buy them

I mean people love consuming fansite goods like fancams/photos and stuff but it's not like most of the fansite masters can do it for no money at all. Also maybe I'm just an obsessed fan lol but I love content like that for my ultimate fave(s), photocards and pretty items and everything. The photobooks are so so good too.

They are creative and beautiful. In a way, its move their economy especially lots of them exported for I fans.

Ethically, its breach the artist right over their image.

But I'd buy if the shipping cost is not that ourageous

Also fan merch done right.

That is so pretty, which fandom is it from?
