Meigitsune 2,999 Posted June 9, 2013 Share Posted June 9, 2013 Gimme some examples You'll notice the the day the video debuted on the countdown on the bottom left, and there's also the number in which the M/V debuted in the top right. Of course the thing in the top right changes so that's not always there and there's not always that tag to videos, but it seems like most M/Vs have it now. It's because of that new censorship law that was passed and came into effect in 2013 saying that music videos had to be reviewed before release. Eventually it was changed so that it's OK that a broadcast station has reviewed the video instead of that government panel. The logo and the date shown on all music videos is for which broadcast station that reviewed the video and the date it was approved. You'll also see that some videos has been hit with a "12" or "15" (or even 19) rating because they're too explicit for kids. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
