How much did it cost to dress like TWICE in the 'What is Love?' teasers?

Dammit I thought this would be like that one thread showing their previous outfits were cheap enough to be bought by plebs like us rlytearpls.png

Nothing since those are probably all sponsored.

Yes, because Gucci, Versace, Chanel, and Moschino are all sponsoring Twice.

I'm not sure how a clothing sponsor would feel about the stylists modifying the form of the clothes (As evident here, here, here, and here). If you're trying to advertise the clothes, wouldn't you want to strictly display them as is?

I wonder: do companies borrow items from designer brands or are they REALLY spending that much money for fashion looks that cannot be used twice

If the clothes they're wearing are modified, there's a good chance that the designer brands aren't sponsoring them... for a designer brand to sponsor a Kpop group, you'd assume that it'd be to advertise the clothes. In order to advertise the clothes, you'd want to display them as is.

Kpop companies might prefer to use high-end brands because its more fashionable, higher quality, and frankly is a way to flaunt wealth.

For example, this shirt is a Gucci shirt that costs $830. This dress cost over a thousand dollars and was evidently modified.

Fashion houses been sending their collections to Kpop companies since forever so yes?

Nope. That's not how it works.

I don't care how freakin' expensive their outfits are. I just want them to be styled nicely especially Jeongyeon. It seems like they are not sure how to style her.

And with the group treaser photo, Jeongyeon is the only one that was a bit off of all of them. Everyone is wearing short skirts/shorts/dress and she is the only one wearing pants.

i think those big brands are sponsoring tho, maybe with discount deals or such. i remember i read somewhere that the high-end fashion line industry was dying in early 2010s that's why they shifted their style to more youthful & they obviously needed popular youngsters for the exposure purpose.

I'm not going to agrue against this lol. But this is very interesting... I mean from an ethical standpoint if I owned a fashion business I wouldn't want to use this kind of advertisement but then again I don't think like most fashion company CEOs.
