The company's success is attributed to BTS. A Korean economist has predicted that Big Hit Entertainment's founder and CEO Bang Si Hyuk could become the richest person in the Korean entertainment industry. The economist says that if Bang Si Hyuk goes public with an IPO (initial public offering), he can expect to hold several hundred billion KRW worth of stocks, which would make him even richer than current richest man in K-entertainment, SM Entertainment CEO Lee Sooman.
