[Discuss] Where will the Wanna One fandoms migrate to after disbandment this year

Needless to say Wanna One has been a massively successful project group.. They sold over a million copies of their debut album and they are definitely a top tier group already [top 3 even] and they have a impressively organized fandom who  are very protective.. however there isn't much time left for their upcoming disbandment.. YMC confirmed that their promotions will last until the end of 2018 and we're already nearing April.. after their disbandment their fandoms will fracture into many paths.. when the members go their separate ways.. 

 

  • Minhyun - Minhyun probably has the safest road back to his company with Nuest already getting a massive boost in popularity after Produce101.. which will only get bigger with them being OT5 again.. 
  • Sungwoon - Hotshot is going to be an interesting case.. aside from Sungwoon being in Wanna One.. Taehyun debuted in JBJ which is doing well.. and the group sent Hojung and Timoteo to the Unit and they did very well too.. Hojung made the final debut team UNB and will have their official debut next week and Timoteo was 1 spot away from being in the debut team at number 10.. so with the diverse fandom I'm curious what the end result will be..
  • Woojin & Daehwi - Brand New Music already debuted MXM so I'm sure they're counting down the days until Woojin and Daehwi are free to re-debut a new boygroup with all 4 members if not more..
  • Seungwoo - His future is uncertain but If I was Fantagio I would definitely add him to Astro as a 7th member.. Seungwoo is one of my favorites and I think Astro have potential to do very well.. adding him would take them one step closer to making that happen..
  • Jihoon - Maroo sent a few of their trainees to MIXNINE and none of them managed to reach very far.. I'd assume He would redebut with them next year..
  • Guanlin - Cube is most likely planning the debut of their next boygroup which will be lead by Guanlin and Seunho who has been doing well and gaining a moderate fandom.. He is going to have his solo debut soon.. honestly I wish them the best.. Cube is not what it used to be but they're still fighting
  • Jaehwan - He recently signed a contract with CJ E&M and honestly I can't see him joining another group.. so I'm guessing he will be the Chungha of the group and debut solo
  • Jinyoung - C9 debuted a 10 member girl group last year out of nowhere.. and its a pretty known company with big names so I'm sure they have plans for Jinyoung's future too..

 

  • Daniel and Jisung - I have no idea what the hell is going to happen to Daniel and Jisung.. apparently the rest of the boys that went to P101 all left the company and their company has been getting a bad rep for not taking any new trainees or something? Daniel is one of the most popular members of Wanna One and it would be shame for him to get shafted by his company post disbandment.. hope for the best I guess

 

 

So yea their fandom is going to separate in 9 ways.. It'll be really hard to keep up with them all I'm sure.. and with such a huge fandom there are bound to be some that will leave the boys completely and stan someone from the competition.. its getting harder and harder with the likes of BTS, NCT, Stray Kids, IKON, GOT7, YGNBB, Seventeen and all the rest of the boygroups that are still growing.. so yea what do you guys think?

idk if i would want ong to be added to astro at this point... don't get me wrong, he's my fave with minhyun and i want him to debut definitely, but i think astro thus far has grown too much into their own identity with the current line-up. 

 

i also honestly hope that all the success pd101 + the unit have given hotshot, has long-term effect. it's a great group and they've gotten unnoticed for way too long. also really wishing well for all of them but especially the maroon kiddo's since i followed the mixnine trainees as well

That would be a no from me for the Ong to Astro idea.

The fandom will continue with their own favs, they won't leave them just because W1 disbands because most of them were individual fans before the group was made.

Its very different when they debut in a whole other group, compared to competing as trainees in a survival show.. but who knows.. do you think Fantagio will debut Ong as a solo? cuz I don't think they're at a stage to debut another boygroup considering their current state..  I think adding him to Astro would be like hitting 2 birds with 1 stone.. and he fits in well age wise ..I think it'll be a waste if he doesn't debut in a group because he's a great dancer and a solid vocalist.. he will only add to the line up and He will definitely make me pay more attention to them as a whole

I'm gonna checkout hotshot because of Tae & Sung.

 

Daniel & Jisung, my ass is hoping they can get out of their contracts, same goes for Jihoon, as for what they'll do, idk, can they all just go join C9 and debut in a new boy group pls :rlytearpls:

 

One will focus more on acting I think, fantagio shoukdnt add him to Astro, they should get him those CFs, acting roles, music vids etc.

 

I also won't be surprised if we see Ong, Daniel & Jisung in the variety show circuit for a while.

Yes, I think he'll go solo. As a solo singer and actor.

ong was supposed to debut with surprise u - similar to 5urprise. Fantagio didnt plan him to be an idol, he will debut as an actor. with his visual, talents, everything + he already got fame, he wont be less than seo kang joon or nam joo hyuk.

 

daniel will be the new suzy.

 

cube should send kl to china, he will be the king there. money in korea is like a penny in china.

 

jihoon can do d.o way, acting in movies, he will do well in cf

 

wannable is made of 90% individual stans, 10% group stans. they been through with the boys from the beginning, all the up and down, they will stay with them. Some might move to the next 101 groups but the core fandom is strong.

ong's my bias and i like astro but yeah, no.... i cant even force myself to visualise it. my brain straight up refuses. i doubt ong'll go solo tho and lowkey i don't want him to. i think it's more likely he'll pick up an acting career. he's got the talent and the face for it anyway.

uhmm I hope Minhyun fans (wannables) will continue to support Minhyun even in NU'EST and will support NU'EST as well...

I actually want his akgaes to just join another fandom... because some of them already attacked NU'EST and LOVEs before

yes... even there are some "love" who support all members except Baekho. My friend who understand korean, said they would come to nu'est concert in the same day and ruin baekho's solo stage. Fortunately it didn't happen. Imagine if minhyun akgaes do something to nu'est...

its not really join 5urprise u. 5urprise u already debut and the concept is to debut as a group so they can promote each other. ong is already famous, he doesnt need 5urprise u
