[Life] Ep 15 Lee Dong Wook asks Jo Seung Woo, "Who are you going to fight with?"

Posted on Tuesday, September 11, 2018

Article: Naver 'Life' Will Jo Seung Woo fight along with the medical team?

1. [+1010,-50]

In real organizations, things will go crazy because of a person like Ye Jin Woo... He doesn't do his work, he goes out every day, in the middle of all that he is burning in flames of justice by himself... And he didn't really solve anything... It will become a total mess.

2. [+535,-27]

If Ye Seon Woo's story (His guilt when he was young, his crush for No Eul) and Ye Jin Woo's story (Delusions of Seon Woo, dating with the reporter) are gone, I would be more immersed with the story. Whenever these parts come out, it becomes boring.

3. [+279,-15]

They try to put in everything, but nothing was done properly. Everything becomes ambiguous. But Jo Seung Woo/Gu Seung Hyo is jjang. He's so cool.

4. [+180,-12]

Who's going to take responsibility for my Mondays and Tuesdays now? I'm going to miss President Seung Hyo.

5. [+148,-1]

Really.. I had high expectations because it's the scriptwriter of Stranger.. But disabled people, doctors, problems of employment in real life, everything was added in, which made it a pity. Personally, I think Ye Jin Woo is the worst main character.. Jo Seung Woo has worked hard by hard carrying this drama.

6. [+116,-5]

Privatization, nurses' pay, surgery done by a substitute, corrupted relations between politics and business, performance-pay related system, arrogant and rich people from huge companies and employment issues, reality of the disabled people, etc... There are too many topics in this drama. But I'd still wish to give this drama a good grade. The problems in our society are now relatively clear. In truth, the citizens are already aware, and are seeing it with their eyes. But there are little Choi Soon Shils who doesn't like sharing anything filling up this place.

7. [+109,-1]

In terms of how interesting the scenes are, there's a huge difference between Jo Seung Woo in the scene and Jo Seung Woo not in the scene...

8. [+113,-19]

I was dozing off and almost fell asleep when the Ye brothers came out..

[Life] FINALE Ep 16 Jo Seung Woo gets fired & happy ending with Jo Seung Woo♥Won Jin Ah

Posted on Wednesday, September 12, 2018

Article: Naver 'Life' Lee Dong Wook plans for an Independent Foundation.. Jo Seung Woo♥Won Jin Ah

1. [+1147,-54]
I've endured till the end for Actor Jo Seung Woo. The production fee costs 10.6 billion won? Seung Woo hyung doesn't need to show his loyalty toward the production team who worked with him on his previous work. If he is going to be a supporting character, the main characters should be people who acts better than him or people who are as good as him.

2. [+489,-21]
No matter how much you try, the big companies just do what they want, it's difficult to change them.. In the end, you just have to find little happiness in your lives (Love, brothers relationship). Isn't this the message the scriptwriter is trying to send out... Which is why the drama title is Life.

3. [+444,-49]
I wanted to continue seeing Jo Seung Woo's good acting, so I watched till the end. I feel pathetic for doing that. In the middle of all that, it's nice to see you, Seo Dong Jae-ssi. Lee Dong Wook has to learn acting all over again!

4. [+213,-6]
In the beginning, I thought that this was about the conflict with big companies and their elitism against egoistical doctors. That is why no one is entirely right and no one is entirely wrong. But because of such reality, there is a crisis of patients are getting neglected. I thought the drama is about this. I've lost. Looks like I wasn't the only one shaking at the end watching the brothers diving. ㅠㅜ

5. [+167,-1]
Ah... What a waste of the character Gu Seung Hyo... ã… ã… ã… ã… ã… ã… ã…  There are too many scenes with the Ye brothers.. It would've been better if the drama focuses on Oh Se Hwa, Joo Kyung Moon, Gu Seung Hyo from the beginning till the end...

6. [+166,-6]
After watching Life, I thought that Jo Seung Woo should act in a romance drama. Don't keep that gaze and voice of yours in.

7. [+138,-2]
After watching this drama, it makes me wonder why did they start off that way. It started out heavy, but ended it with 'our lives'~ ending. From the beginning till end, the story development, and the characters, there is nothing I could comprehend. Not sure what exactly I've watched..

8. [+106,-0]
I was wondering when will Jo Seung Woo appear again. And he appeared for that 1 minute just to complete the love line. Really, even Jo Seung Woo himself would find it absurd looking at the script.

Article: Naver 'Life' Jung Moon Sung upset with Jo Seung Woo 'Fired in the end'

1. [+237,-4]
Jo Seung Woo has worked hard. I watched because of Jo Seung Woo. Scriptwriter, don't put every story you want to write in one drama. Find a theme and write it according to that. As for actor Lee Dong Wook.. character Lee No Eul.... Director... I won't say too much.

2. [+105,-53]
A really strange drama. Lee Dong Wook's acting skills are too severe......… Feels like Lee Dong Wook ruined it........... He didn't practice his acting I guess.

3. [+55,-3]
Why is the ending that way? Ah, seriously.. I almost cursed.

4. [+72,-25]
The Ye brothers leave me speechless. A drama that leaves me speechless.. Scriptwriter, Stranger was a fluke, right? What exactly are you trying to convey? Lee Dong Wook doesn't feel like the main lead. I feel like I'm insane to have watched this till the end.

5. [+36,-0]
I'm watching this because of my loyalty for Jo Seung Woo...... TT

6. [+31,-0]
The characters I like most in this drama is President Gu Seung Hyo and his secretary Kang.

7. [+28,-0]
Getting Jo Seung Woo to create such a drama....

8. [+37,-12]
Lee Dong Wook should play as a supporting character. He doesn't have the ability to take on the main lead.

9. [+20,-0]
The viewers who watched because of Stranger and the dead Director are left speechless.. And it turned out to be a bromance drama.

Team Dramabeans: What we’re watching???

So, what are we all watching this week?

What kept you reaching for more (or agonizing when there was no more), and what made you want to throw your remote through the screen? Time to weigh in…

  • Life: This was an interesting watch for me, because it isn’t a show I was super excited to start, and the story wasn’t necessarily gripping — it was a bunch of doctors jockeying for power in the midst of a shake-up at the top of a hospital. But for me it was the director’s hand that kept the show compelling even when there wasn’t much going on in the story; the way the show was put together, edited, filmed, acted, and produced ultimately created this tense, nearly thriller-like experience in a drama that was the furthest thing from a thriller plot. In the end I was happy to see Jo Seung-woo side with his conscience and prove that he wasn’t the monster he was made out to be at the start, and the romantic side stories fell into place nicely. But of course it was the brothers’ particular brand of closeness and mutual guilt that had my emotions, and I was happiest when Jin-woo finally got his chance to confront his brother’s specter, acknowledge that it had helped him through troubled times, and wave it goodbye.
