if I understood well,  participants are free to challenge the competing mentors. While the invited mentors are there to advice and judge? I did not watch the previous seasons.

I can understand JJLin as invited mentors, but why Jackson and Junkai? They are more like fresh idol singers so it's not as suitable for them to judge the competing mentors?? Especially some of competing mentors are like super veteran singers with 10+ years experiences.

Maybe they just decided to add them for one episode to bring attention to the show. It happens often.

Yes!! @ Amei and Hebe, but overall the lineup seems a little overcrowded :/ Especially given the format of the show. It's getting more and more focused on the mentors. Having people judge the performances at all is also unfortunate, I love the way they felt free to experiment with their styles and I wouldn't want that cramped.
