Balancetonquoi 4,707 Posted March 26, 2018 Share Posted March 26, 2018 I think her character in '' my mister '' is different from other female leads -She seems like she doesnt care about anything but her own business - shes not PURE or INNOCENT shes a normal human being who makes bad decisions sometimes -she gets beaten up but dont cry in front of her opponent (she smiles lol) -shes not afraid of bad guys she FIGHTS them (even if she cant really fight) she doesnt seem the type of character who needs a MAN to rescue her - she seems good at manipulating people - shes very smart -shes not hype 24/7 like other female leads I never had a particular opinion on IU's acting but I really like her in this drama Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

HugeBoi Minos Wife 40,568 Posted March 26, 2018 Share Posted March 26, 2018 The characters in My Mister seem reversed compared to what we usually see in kdrama: the male lead kinda looks pathetic, struggles to get out of trouble and freaks out easily, has no control over his own life, gets cheated on... While IU's character is so badass. She gets shit done and got no time to cry or wait for a man to rescue her. She fights for herself and the people she care about and she's smart as hell. Yep and even K-media have taken notice of IU's character and started hyping it up (since it's so rare to see women being portrayed like that in kdramas).
