King & Prince is a Johnny's Jr. unit that is debuting this may. Originally They were Johnny's Jr unit Mr. King vs Mr Prince, the unit was created to be special supporter group for TV Asahi’s Roppongi Hills Natsu Matsuri Summer Station and later continued activities as two separate Jr. units Mr. KING and Prince. On January 17th at a press conference it was announced that Mr. KING and Prince will be debuting as a one group called King & Prince and they also announced establishment of their new label Johnnys' Universe in collaboration with Universal Music Japan. King & Prince went on to debut with a hit song Cinderella girl that sold 577,000 in its first week making it the most successful debut since KAT-TUN debut in 2006.

Why are they not on johnny's jr's channel though?

They are debuting next month so they won't be jr.s soon. Also the youtube channel doesn't feature all jrs  and its voluntary for example one jr. unit Love-Tune declined to be on the channel .laugh.png we have a johnny´s  jr thread if you like to discus jrs you're welcome to post in there too and if you are interested in Kinpuri then please follow this thread smile.png

I disagree I like it. But is this for the drama Hana Yori Dango 2.0?

No this is for his Movie Honey laugh.png the hana yori dango hairstyle is the one in the Cinderella girl performance

I agree this is better than his current old school Johnny's hairstyle.

And Ren's little laugh. He probably misses being among his fellow Kanjus, doesn't seem like he laughs as much anymore.
