Hey guys! I'm a new Sakura fan and will be supporting her throughout produce (and after), i'm so freaking excited she is the 1st center bc center's ALWAYS make it to the final group. Center means those 8 fansites can be muliplied, it means her head is in in the game, she is in it to win it, that's my baby. Hopefully she keeps the momentum and mnet does her good in editing. so glad to be here !

Haha ikr, I was trying to get people to vote for her when it starts just a few days ago and now she's the theme song center, its beautiful, I think its more special cause I liked her before she became center for this haha.

Ah I just don't want "that controversy" to ruin her chances of winning. It also hurts me to see her getting hate comments.

Her past controversy was bound to come out eventually. Hopefully tho, people will see how cute she is on the show. I actually believe that as center, she'll get a lot of screentime, get more fans, she'll be shielded well soon, with people spreading more truth.

Hey guys, yall know where we can find more Sakura stuff subbed (in HKT48 ect), youtube isn't greaT. Also is anyone else worried Sakura isn't updating her social network compared to others who are also running for sbs?

I also recommend watching the dramas with Sakura, especially Crow's Blood, it's a short drama (only 6 episodes and the episodes are short), it's a mix of horror and suspense and I personally found the drama interesting!

and yes Sakura didn't give updates these days, it's worrying, but I hope it's because she's too busy and that she can soon get back to updating on her Twitter and Youtube. I miss her videos and photos :(

Yes, it's mostly people who are are already fans of another girl from AKB48, they're unnecessarily bringing that past hatred to the new fans. Let's just support Sakura, all the way. Kpop and Jpop was never about talent, she's charming, that's all she needs and to be nice throughout the show.

it is bad, especially in AKB where they pretty much compete all the time and every year. I expect the Sakura VS Jurina rivalry to get more intense because they both compete for #1 in elections for the first time this year, and now they're also competing in PD48, so the rivalry is expected. but so far I feel like the attacks come more from one side than the other (it might change LOL) and it's just Sakura getting the hate. I admit I also don't like all the girls in AKB and it's pretty much seen as normal to drag other members in the fandom, but imo I wouldn't go as low as being an active anti and trying to ruin an idol's image just because of this. a lot of the hate Sakura gets from fans of other members have always been unfair, I mean there used to be people doing mistranslations of what she says (on purpose!) to get her more hate, and the worse is that it worked, and it had to be cleared up each time by other japanese-speaking people. that's how bad it is...

 

also I don't get what's wrong even if someone likes her for being pretty. it's being hypocrite to act like no one cares for visuals (and especially when it's the first impression). but like that's obviously not the only reason Sakura is getting all this love, I mean the other 90+ girls aren't ugly either LOL if Sakura gets this much love, it's because she's charming and she performed well, it's not that deep... she got the opportunity to be center and she didn't waste the opportunity. Between all 3 first centers of Produce, she is the one who got the most positive response. it's clear she has something special and it's more than just being pretty. People need to let others have their own opinions and make their own judgement instead of forcing their hateful opinions on everyone -_-

I'd understand if she didn't do well but she did and proved that mnet did well choosing her as the first center. I hope the final group won't have so much annoying akgaes.

I love Sakura, but she's too impatient, ik she wants to prove herself and she was never given things easily but Sakura is smart so I hope she takes time to sit down a little bit and think about this. Right now, many people who had never heard of her before are actually finding out about her, she's gaining a lot of new fans eager to know about her, yes they're probably not loyal enough to vote for her in ssk but they're here, she's gonna appear on pd48 and she can reach many people through it. The show is trending on thailand and look how good BNK48 did, Sakura has to find a way to reach these new fans and secure a bigger fanbase. She's too charming and attractive, she just gotta play it right from now on. Nothing is lost, there is only to gain, wait patiently Sakura, your time will come.

While I heard the votes, I was really happy. All of you really wanted to vote me to be the first place. I really feel it, really really happy.

My General Election career was full of joy, I could move forward with all of you, really happy.

HKT48 members sincerely wished me to get the No. 1, cried for me, gave me lot of supports and replied via Twitter, for those, I really think it was meaningful participate in this year's General Election.

She really seems to never want to go back to the general election, maybe she has enough of the stress she gets and the awards aren't worth it. I hope she keeps her promise and doesn't participate next year, maybe a comeback in 2 years will be better but who knows all depends on how the next months will be.

Guys, you should visit Produce 48 thread also, sometimes talks about Sakura take place in it.

It seems like this experience has been really hard on her, she made a promise before that this will be her last year participating in SSK, and she felt burdened and wanted to do her best to make HKT members proud and for Sasshi who she considers her Teacher.

 

I think for now it's a good choice to not participate since it makes her stressed, maybe in the future there is a possibility for her to participate again, but only time will tell. I hope she's okay, and I hope she continues to prosper, it worries me when she said something bothered her so much but she can't say :|

Someone posed on the main produce 48 thread that a deleted article said Jurina told Sakura to dance harder at some point or something, Idk if it's related to that, I really hope not.
