This thread has gotten kind of exhausting. The show really needs to end. It's funny how we've been able to notice strange commentating/behavior from the panel in the past, but now it's oddly gone over people's heads. Like, ok. Whoever ends up together ends up together. I hope they're all still close and happy!

 I think HW and YJ got the most hate in episode 12 (maybe I'm wrong, or maybe they just get bashed equally each episode) because of the way the panelists kept on brainwashing us. When it was DG/JM date, they kept their excitement to the minimum and brushed off any spark/clicks between DG and JM as much as they can, by either saying nothing at all about their cute moments or insinuating how sorry the situation was for JM because DG just couldn't like JM back. They simple say DG and JM made the most out of the awkward date because DG always has HJ in the back of his mind. However, during the second, even more awkward date, HW/HJ, they kept on insisting there was sparks/feelings between the two when all I could see was the painful disappointment from HW (btw, HW could've played it cool there but instead he just couldn't hide his disappointment and uneasiness, not very manly of him tbh), and HJ's embarrassed face whenever he brought up YJ. They, too, tried to make the most out of this unpleasant and tricky date by eventually letting go and enjoying it, yet the panelists claimed it was because those two secretly and unknowingly realized they still liked each other.

I'm just baffled. I mean, what in the world? The two scenarios are almost alike when the guys are not completely happy, but somewhat have to be okay with their date (JM showed up instead of HJ, HJ showed up instead of YJ) (because at the end of the day they have to be a gentleman on the show and not appear to be disgruntle about it). But the ways the panelists approached about those two situations were completely different. I don't understand their motives, but they somehow successfully brainwashed most viewers' minds into thinking that HW had other feelings for HJ while DG absolutely didn't have anything for JM. Despite the fact that DG were never vocal about his feelings for HJ (everyone knows it does not equally mean him admitting it) and HW basically showed his affections for YJ and admitted it to everyone in the house at every chance he got, just not directly to the person involved (aka. YJ, because of the show's rules).

My point is, the panelists are at fault in this episode for confusing viewers' minds. Maybe they wanted to create drama/twists for the show, or they were just being kind and prepared out hearts for the 180 degree change of hearts tomorrow. We shall see.

Oh tomorrow, please come faster, or maybe don't come at all.

Cheers.

Something interesting, to me, is that I often read people saying it’s because of the show’s rules, because they can’t talk directly, etc that the HW/YJ is so dysfunctional. Other than the fact that I find that to be an odd excuse, where did y’all see these rules? You’re not supposed to say who the text is from but I don’t recall hearing or reading that they can’t be clear in their intentions.

This thread has gotten seriously tiring. I hope hyunwoo and youngjoo choose each other just to annoy some people in this thread

Let me change that to « reason Â» if you prefer. ;)

And still haven’t found the rules.

Whatever happens tomorrow, I think some people will be seriously disappointed.

Hello all, I've just been a silent lurker in this thread. Just came here to give my predictions 0u0plz.png

Jaeho and Daeun choose each other.

Hyunwoo and Youngjoo choose each other.

Gyubin chooses Youngjoo.

Jangmi chooses Dogyun.

Hyunjoo chooses Hyunwoo.

I'm confused about Dogyun though, I feel like he can go either way (Jangmi/Hyunjoo)

I haven't been able to trust this show's editing since what happened in season 1 so I won't judge any of the contestant's actions. I hope all 8 find love and success in their lives. Looking forward to tomorrow's finale!

There are actual rules. If you go watch the first episode of Heart Signal 2 there is a blackboard on the wall with rules written (next to the downstairs boys room). If you see the shots of Jaeho sitting in the first episode you will see a blackboard behind him with things written on it numbered 1-6. Even with the heart signal panelists you will see a blackboard behind them with the same exact numbering and things written on them- those are the rules. They are written in Korean and they didn't specifically translate them or mention them on the show but those are the rules. In the first season in the first episode there are rules written on a board as well and they read some of them out loud when they first meet each other.

Yep. The no "i like you" rule was (only?) mentioned in the first ep of season 1, iirc. The show's concept is literally about sending non-verbal or at least not-so-clear signals to the person theyre interested in and seeing whether they get it or misunderstanding ensues. Thats why the panel in s1 mostly talked about body language. There would be no guessing game if they just confessed in the middle of the show.

This show really does need to end so we can all be at peace lmao.

Ah ok, thanks for the clarification !

HW might know that, but YJ never show her feeling to GB. Have you seen any scenes to prove she treat GB as BF or look GB as BF , until ep 12 and i'm surely she have a reason And, that's different way between YJ & HW. If you have a friend like YJ, you will hope she choose one person who like her or the one made her always chases while he not determine feeling clearly . Of course, no one can decide her choice. Even her mother can not so  I will support her unconditional , she is happy is ok.

N who are you 2 say that HW doesn't deserve YJ, know what funny your sentiment above also apply in YJ case.

"If you are HW and you would sympathy to see your boy@girl friend look another girl , treat as a puppy, or as a cute young sister@brother ...? HW knew GB like YJ."

Watch this show n know that this people are adult n capable of clean up their own mess also able 2 choose the one they like.

lol i'm crazy fan of cool man , not girl . But the way you comments abt YJ lack understand and sympathize make you look weird and its funny. Everything you see is what they want you to see lol

The fact all the the guys choose HJ for their date proves that they treat her as normal friend ( exclude DG , of course ) because they determine their feeling already to the first choice . and you are absolutely acting like a crazy fan girl of HJ haa .

Anw, i do hope HJ & HW go end together because i'm tired of her giggle .

Well, the fact that all the guys chose HJ for their dates proves that people like her better. Everything you see is what they want you to see. Im not hating on YJ but her relationship with HW was very tensed. We can not debate whats right and whats wrong in love, you are absolutely acting like a crazy fangirl of YJ lol

I'm sticking with my guess from last week.

Youngjoo <-> Hyunwoo

Daeun <-> Jaeho

Jangmi -> Dogyun

Dogyun -> Hyunjoo

Hyunjoo -> Hyunwoo

Gyubin -> Youngjoo

I just hope that chaos doesn't ensue from the final choices. The cast have been through so much already and they really don't need people coming after them for a decision they made almost half a year ago.

Just wanted to share this before the episode tonight (thank God it's over) but if Hyunwoo chooses HyunJoo hasn't YoungJoo been justified in her insecurities then. I mean she definitely needs to be more trusting but if there are people who see HW "undiscovered feelings" for HJ and loyal supporters of HWxYJ are now predicting he chooses HJ then...

And it won't just be because she was not confident in the relationship. If he was as sure of YJ and had absolutely no feelings for HJ he would stick to YJ till the end. Prove her wrong if anything. Like when you're with someone and they say "don't worry about him/her" and when you break up the two are together.

Just wanted to share that idea hopefully everyone goes with what they really want not what they think looks best and they all achieved true happiness

Twitter peeps are going too hard with their YJ-HW ship right now. Saw some tweets calling Hyunjoo a snake for “getting in the way†of their ship and some tweets calling Gyubin sly for choosing the Busan ticket. Like wtf is up with these hardcore shippers

Episode summary

I was tuning in and out of the stream for most of the pre-final choice parts but from the bits that I saw:

  • Hyunjoo goes out to eat with Dogyun
  • Hyunjoo talks to Youngjoo about how her heart vs head conflict
  • Youngjoo and Hyunwoo go out to eat
  • Housemates have a final party feat. popping Dogyun
  • Final 10 minute talks, montage edits etc. you know the drill

Final choices

Jaeho - Daeun

Gyubin -> Youngjoo

Jangmi -> Dogyun

Dogyun -> Hyunjoo

Hyunjoo - Hyunwoo (ran to her Jang Chun style)

Youngjoo -> Hyunwoo
