I'm gonna talk about some of the reactions from k-netz towards this episode.

Seems like quite a lot of k-netz are criticizing Hyunwoo and siding with Hyunjoo. All the top comments and most comments in general under Hyunwoo and Hyunjoo date videos are about how cool and amazing Hyunjoo is for remaining so bright, positive and charming despite Hyunwoo treating her so inconsiderately and thoughtlessly. They think that he had no manners mentioning Youngjoo in front of Hyunjoo like that and expressing his disappointment so openly. They said that if they were Hyunjoo in that situation, they can never be like her in the sense that she's trying to brighten the situation and make him comfortable and such. Everyone is also praising her for being so kind and selfless since she received all the locations and could go on a date with Dogyun if she wanted to but gave it up for Jangmi's sake and how she let Youngjoo pick what is as assumed Hyunwoo's location even if it meant that she had to go on the last date with Gyubin whom she had zero interest in. 

On another note, there is also an increasing amount of support for Hyunwoo and Hyunjoo too (?) because according to knetz they have more sexual chemistry and their personalities match better. They also don't have misunderstandings like Hyunwoo and Youngjoo and are very stable in comparison (though a lot of people also think that he doesn't deserve her oops). But of course the mass majority of viewers are still on board the Hyunwoo and Youngjoo ship. Everyone is crying at that scene where Hyunwoo was drinking alone and want the show to end already so they can meet outside and date for real without restrictions. Basically people are just tired of all the drama lol.

Everyone is complaining about Jaeho and Daeun's screen time under their video (Channel A literally only released one clip of them wtf) and although they all think that Daeun is not actually interested in Jaeho, most comments about her are positive such as how pretty she is and hoping that she stays strong and to not care about the hate she got the past few weeks. 

Reactions towards Youngjoo and Gyubin's date are same old same old like how Gyubin is such a gentleman and so thoughtful and asking Youngjoo why she can't see that and appreciate him more blah blah.

Hearts are also breaking for Jangmi and her date with Dogyun. It's basically a sad situation all around since Jangmi really likes Dogyun but he doesn't reciprocate her feelings while Dogyun really likes Hyunjoo but she doesn't reciprocate his. There's really no winning situation unless one of them suddenly changes their mind at the end. Anyway people are saying that these three are better off dating someone else outside the show because they're all such wonderful people and deserve happiness

Someone translated what was said for next week's preview. What caught my attention is GB saying to someone "when did you start seeing me as a man". I can only assume he's talking to YJ since he's had no other interaction or "relationship" with any of the other housemates. So unless he's asking her that question and she replies "never, you're just my friend" haha, I'm assuming they end up together.

I saw the episode and... I lost the excitement. I'm tired of predicting what they really feel Personally think Youngjoo was pissed at Hyunwoo cuz she thought he chose the other location to avoid her and it was clear as day how she was purposely avoiding him when she came back from her date with Gyubin.. that could also be why he voted for hyunjoo but again, we are only shown what we are shown and he could be totally smitten with Hyunjoo now. I've learnt not to trust anything being shown.

Maybe we should do a little game? with a prize? kinda like the panel. Whoever guesses all the love lines correctly wins the pot? (and if there's more than one person then it' divided amongst them). I'm willing to donate (as long as others want to join, make it a minimum of like 10 people?)

I ever think as you when see 12 raw, but i watched again with eng sub , i see GB is cool guy : intelligent, work hard and he really like YJ . he only focused her from the first time , very clearly . I understated why YJ feel not safe besides HW.  HW not show his emotion clearly and he forwards to HJ as well. I'm shipper of HW & YJ but i should change ??? I already like GB

I agree that GB has never looked at another person and that’s admirable so I totally get why people ship him. But I never get when people say HW hasn’t been clear with his emotions. He’s opened up so many times about it to her and the group without saying her name; communication styles are different for everyone so I accept that she didn’t always hear it as it was intended. GB definitely has the record on initiating things withYJ but it’s not like HW’s ever initiated dates with HJ either. Their first date was a mix&match, everybody except DG had an initial interest in their Christmas date because it was the first one. In ep 11, HJ even said herself that HW had been avoiding her since then so how is that being forward to her?

Anywhoo I’m worried about where HW’s head is at now, after witnessing YJxGB’s interaction. Strange that YJ took issue with HW choosing HJ 2nd but didn’t mind that GB did the same. Yes HWxHJ have history (that was unavoidable) and I still don’t get why HW chose HJ but it’s bizarre that YJ says in the preview she thought HW purposefully chose the place she wanted to go to avoid her. That’s an odd interpretation but things must have felt that way in the moment for her. Colour me confused â€â™€

 

Friday can’t come soon enough - I can’t bare to watch it live so I’ll rely on the Twitter hashtag.

 

Also, have you heard about the potential for no reunion special?? (Ahh I need one ) The producers are not sure because the cast said they are uncomfortable with the hate comments they’ve been subjected to over last few weeks. So sad that some viewers attack people who are entitled to their own flaws, emotions and decisions and for choices made months ago at that.

Finally watched English Subs and I've changed my mind about the episode.  Warning, this is long. haha

 

HW & HJ's date is awkward, BUT, I feel it's a different kind of awkward than I thought when I didn't know what they were saying. It's more of a what's going on type of awkward.  They were both surprised they ended up together again. When she got in the car, she had a tangerine. But the next scene we saw, she was eating something else. So I really wish they had shown what they first talked about and not edited. Their car ride was 2 hours long each way, at least. 

HW: It's been a while...

HJ: On the first date we talked a lot all day ...

HW: I think we went too far that day...

Then they proceed to keep glancing at each other while driving thru the tunnel.

 

Why? I mean, it's not like he was engaged to anyone. It was the very beginning of the show. Could it be because he really thought he should end up with YJ since he said seen her before had decided it must be fate? Sounds to me like he was trying to control his feelings. 

 

Next scene - 

 

HW: Wait we're here? We're already here.

Considering it was a 2 hour car drive... haha I am assuming they had a pleasant ride.

 

In the car again:

 

HJ: Villages by the sea all look the same

HW: Who you come with is more important. I came with you.

HJ: Are you happy?

HW smiles and scene is cut.

 

Arriving at the restaurant: 

 

HW: Wait for me. Don't just leave me.

HJ. I had to run.

 

Again, little phrases that come out of his mouth naturally.

 

At the restaurant:

 

HW asks HJ if she needs help tying her apron. They both giggle. SOMEONE, not sure who, says "What's wrong with me?".

 

Afterwards, I honestly feel like they both feel something when they look at each other and that's why they kept looking away.

 

HW: A lot of unexpected things keep happening in the house.

HJ changes the subject

HW: I didn't expect to see you today

HJ: At the moment I saw your head ..I was contemplating a lot. But Sokcho was the only choice I had. 

HW: Who you go with?

HJ: Yes, that's why I hesitated. It was obvious you know. 

HW: By the way..

HJ: Let's just not think about that.

 

My interpretation of this. HJ really didn't want to go on this date with HW. She knew he was determined to pursue YJ. Maybe she was worried in the beginning of the date that HW might think she manipulated the vote to go on the date with him, and that's why she chose to explain/clarify that she had no choice. I'm not sure what HW was about to say before she said hey, let's just let it go. This date will be especially appealing to HW because there is no drama. It's easy, HJ doesn't expect anything of him. 

 

Next scene outside: 

 

HW: We should have gone to the end. (Pointing to the other side of boardwalk)

HJ: Too bad, let's come back later.

 

I take this to mean he wanted to prolong their walk. When you don't want to be with someone you make it as short as possible.

 

******skipping YJ and GB date********

******DG and JM date, I felt she was inlove, he was basically acting like a tour guide. I think he sent her a text as a courtesy, especially since she got sick worrying about how the date would go.***********

 

Back to HW and HJ.

 

HW: Even the traffic lights aren't on our side 

HJ: We're not going home after riding the cable car, are we?

HW: We will ride it and go to Seoul with it. You don't want to go? What's wrong. Do you want to go home now?

HJ: No, I don't, that's what I meant.

HW: You could say you don't want to go home so fast.

HJ: That's why I said, we're not going home are we?

HW: I thought you want to go home fast.

 

This is pretty clear...they both want the date to continue. He even got worried she wanted to go back home. But even this "misunderstanding" didn't turn into a big thing like it would have with YJ. They cleared it up in like half a second. 

 

I'm not even going to discuss them running with HW pulling her sleeve. But I think it didn't leave them indifferent.

 

In the car:

 

HW: What was your most unforgettable memory?

HJ: Just now.

HW: Just now?

HJ: Yes. From the moment we started to run, until we reached the top of the mountain. 

 

At the restaurant:

 

HW: What do you think about how things will be when we get home?

HJ: How I think they will be?...nervous laugh with HW staring at her. 

HJ: What about you?

HW: Me? Honestly I didn't expect to see you. I'm being honest. It wasn't easy while putting two names on my ticket...I was actually thinking YJ would come to the place. And I wanted to be nice to her. Then I went to sleep and I woke up and... If you're destined to meet with the person, you will end up with that person. 

HJ: Ok...shall we go see the night view?

HW: Did I give you a vague answer again?

HJ: No, it was a great answer.

HW: really? I don't even know what I said.

 

OK. So I see where some people thought he meant he would end up with YJ. But nope, I think he's talking about HJ. And I think just the fact he can easily have a conversation with her like this without hurt feelings or drama, is another proof they really are well suited for each other.  Also, you can tell he is worried about what is waiting for them back home. He is worried he enjoyed himself and now he has to "face the music". He also seems worried that HJ might have misunderstood his answer, since he is used to YJ misunderstanding. Hence why he asked if he gave a vague answer. He must be really surprised when HJ said no, that the answer was a great one. 

 

Then we have a whole 2 hour car ride conversation missing.

 

Back at home... you all know what happened. But I think it only helped reinforce to HW that YJ is not the one. In the preview for next week it looks like they're talking things out, but I think they're actually saying goodbye to each other. Like, this isn't going to work type of talk.

 

Voila. If you read the whole thing, congratulations, you will get a cookie. lol 

 

My prediction: HW and HJ end up together.

But to play Devil's advocate and go with the theory that the show is trying to make us think that they must surely be trying to trick us like last season so we think HW/HJ have a chance together when in fact HW/YJ end up together even though we knew HW/YJ were gonna end up together but they tricked us into thinking HW/HJ could end up together... (did you follow that? lol)

 

We can interpret their date as being friendly and they both wanted to continue it simply because they were comfortable. And that is why we have 4 hours of missing car conversations and why they showed that YJ and GB date went so well and they picked the same book, blah blah blah. (I thought it was forced on YJ side but whatever.)

 

The last convo could be interpreted as both HW and HJ being worried that the people they like are on dates with someone else and they don't know what to expect when they get home. HW's worst nightmare happens when YJ comes home and is basically flaunting her date and ignoring HW. (In the preview she says it was her plan to ignore him). 

 

 

I still think my first theory is correct and HW & HJ end up together. It seems like the healthier relationship.

It is is a shame that the caste is getting hate comments. Totally uncalled for especially as I think there was so much manipulation in editing by the PD in attempt to gain ratings. I doubt that these normal but highly successful people were given any preparation for the fall-out of being exposed to the world. I cannot blame them if they do not have a reunion. The emotional roller coaster that they experienced during the filming of the show is likely still very raw for them.
