This episode was kinda pointless because of all the messy editing. I think that I reached the point where I don’t care anymore about who ends up with who.

HJ is now my favorite, girl did everything she could to make sure everyone is satisfied. She’s probably tired of all this shit now.

DoGyun, GyuBin and JaeHo have been having fun partying at the Ultra Music Festival Korea the past two days (the festival runs June 8-10th) and mobbed by Heart Signal fans for pictures. I need to see a video of DoGyun dancing to the EDM music asap LOL. Hyunjoo was also spotted at the festival, no one can confirm if she met up with any of the HS guys though. Looks like she's growing her hair out, it looks cute. I'm also going to need to know in detail what skincare products sis uses b/c her skin is amazing.

DG changed his IG photo.  Isn't it a screen shot from the show were he is standing in the kitchen holding the cooking item for HJ?

 

Didn't GB do a good job keeping a low public profile - no IG account present for most of the season?

 

Fool me once...MSG (literally had a pain in my chest).

Fool me twice - no wait this season fooled me twice and thrice and...I'm an idiot.

Fingers crossed I keep my promise to myself...this show is dead to me.

 

Besides, whom would sign up for this next season anyway? Production will spin you and your story round and round like a tornado. Can anyone afford to risk their reputations, careers, effect their families and generally be mauled by the public?

Kind of rewatched ep 11 with subs. And in hindsight, i think hw saying that he had 2 people in mind for his final choice was kind of mean towards hj. Ofc the other person being hj was only implied and everyone else in the house knows thats a lie and he'll 100%(?) pick yj(except yj lol). But i kinda felt bad for hj when she said, "one of the candidates is meaningless." Hw clarifies that it was a joke and hj knows that anyway but i thought it was kinda cruel bc hj likes(?) hw and he knows(?) that too.

 

Also, i really liked gb and dg's conversation. Gb is such a cutie asking help from his hyung. And i really liked his advice to the worried dg who cant read hj's mind: "That doesnt matter. Just do it." As expected of ì§ì§„ê·­.

 

Ep 12 has made everything confusing esp bc they may not necessarily pick the one they like more. Sigh. I just hope it works out well for everyone

Agreed 100% with Ataraxia's review earlier especially re. HW's clumsy language choices. I'd just add that the production team was terrible to DExJH. I literally counted the screen time for their date and it was 3 minutes! What the actual fuck. So terrible but whatever, I can't put anything past editing team now.

 

I also agree with @swou when they said they feel like the PDs purposefully selected scenes to manipulate audience this ep (for different reasons, depending on the fandom). However, I do disagree about the level of awkwardness they showed on the HJ-HW date. I think the HS team tried their best to show moments of excitement (running scene) and bonding (talking about his childhood) as well as the initial awkwardness. Don't think they were straight up making it look like they hated the date. I didn't get the impression that HW disliked her, more of a dissappointed that it wasn't YJ at first.

HJ is incredibly selfless, I really appreciate her! Her energy really makes people comfortable. I'd never swap places with her on that date, but she turned it around (love it).

 

GB was thoughtful and caring as per usual but no sparks flew from my POV. But hey I'm willing to be surprised lol

 

I will ship HWxYJ to the end but I get why people have jumped ship. I have literally never shipped a reality pair in my life so I'll be loyal and if burned so be it 😌.

 

Either way, all the residents seem to be well and truly over the HS house, and all friends so I'll get over any dissappointment quickly too â¤ï¸

Agreed.  Texts seemed like courtesies.

I don't have too much to add, but since this is the second-to-last episode––

 

I liked Daeun and Jaeho's date, they're very sweet together and I wish they would have shown us more. They never give us any Daeun/Jaeho screentime, and even separately, Daeun OR Jaeho don't get very much unless they're tagging along with another couple. It's just annoying at this point. I'm not the biggest fan of Dogyun-Jangmi (I haven't seen too much of them, since Jangmi is new) but I do think they work well together, and my heart broke for Jangmi during the date :( Unrequited love is hard, and I wish them the both truly––I liked the quote Jangmi said about how love is like sand, squeeze/try to control it and it'll slip from your fingertips. Things really are unpredictable like that. 

 

I'm the odd one out here, for sure, but I've never been the biggest fan of Hyunwoo?? But his story about his grandmother and his family pressed really warmly into my heart. Something about it felt so bittersweet and nostalgic and genuine, and I kept thinking about it for a while. I feel like there's this strange comfortable understanding between Hyunwoo and Hyunjoo, even if I don't think it's exactly...romantic––I still think that even though there's a lot of complex history between them still, they can make each other open up, so I liked seeing the dynamic between them. Also: Hyunjoo has shown a lot of personal growth throughout the show, but again, I think she's just very bright and gracious, and her happiness is super infectious. Youngjoo & Gyubin were very comfortable with each other, which––I think it reminded me of me & my male best friends, so I really can't see them (at least on Youngjoo's side) as anything more than platonic, but Gyubin's meticulous planning and his thoughtfulness in general made me d'aww a lot. They clearly have a lot in common (choosing the same book for each other) and the conversation was very sweet, but I don't think I can see Hyunwoo-Youngjoo falling apart. If I was in their shoes, I would trust my heart, and I would probably run through all the sweet memories that Hyunwoo-Youngjoo shared together. It just makes sense.

I'm late to reply to this, this weekend was crazy. But you bring up a good point.

 

HW switching his answer to say he had two people in mind was mean to HJ and petty. Did he do it to bother YJ? Or, if he does mean it, how insensitive to bring it up that way. HJ mentioned he said one of the people was meaningless. So that makes the whole thing even more messed up. It's like, oh we can joke about HJ because her feelings don't matter since she's always giggling and smiling.

 

It's also possible HW DOES have an internal conflict going on (evidence in the way he's been feeling after HS started airing). Still, I feel that the way this is playing out (or the way the show was edited) sucks.

 

The more I think about it, the more I feel HJ would be better off not involved in this triangle.
