Bish ....you won't need those things untill you'r 30; you can use a moisturizer with SFP 20 or so, protect your sking from the sun, at your age is likely you have some acne, you can use salicylic acid, and mostly protect your sking with an high SFP if you'r really pale, or 20/30 if ur olive/black skin like me ohbi.png

I honestly have no clue how skin stuff works .... ohdearplz.png

Depending of how oily or dry is your skin you can use coconut oil ( don't use it if you have oily skin ) wich is pretty safe, or Argan Oil 100% pure ( it has to say 100% pure and cold pressure) wich is more gentle for all types of skin, another good thing for your age is Aloe Vera  ( the plant leaf ), and you can put some drops of extra Olive oil on ur face and rub before taking a bath

Edited: By the way you don't need to be of any age to visit a dermatologist ohbi.png, so if you can visit one, specially if the dermatologist can see you face to face and chose what's best for you ahmagahplz.png

I think it’s great you’re taking care of your skin now. It’s good to get in some good habits when it’s still early. I wish I could I go back to my 15 year old self and give myself some advice. Anyway cause your skin is still young and regenerating you don’t really need anything heavy hitting. It’s more like preserving the skin you have now and not damaging it further.

Here are a few important things!

1. Cleanser: Make sure your cleanser is not too harsh. For example if you’re getting that super squeaky clean feeling or your skin feels really tight or dry after cleansing it’s probably way too harsh. Many people think they have oily skin and overcleanse thinking it’ll remove the oil, but oily skin is actually very dehydrated which causes it overproduce oil to compensate for the dehydration, which only worsens oily skin and acne etc. Gentle cleansers would have a low pH ie between 5 to 7. You can see if you can find your cleanser on this list lol. If your cleanser is anything above pH 8 you should probably chuck it and look for another one. Also you may or may not need to cleanse twice a day depending on your skin type and climate but you definitely need to cleanse at least once a day. Otherwise if you allow the sebum to build up it’ll clog and stretch out your pores and pores once stretched out NEVER GO BACK. It’s horrifying lol

2. Sunscreen: Good to get into the habit of using it daily!

3. Not sure of your skin type but never pick on your skin if you get breakouts. You can get deep pitted textural scars from picking and you can’t get rid of them without going to a derma for expensive procedures :( and squeezing and picking your skin can enlarge your pores too. Go to a derma or treat it with Retin A or glycolic acid instead.

4. Moisturise: You just need a simple moisturiser. Hyaluronic acid serum is great. CosRX has great moisturisers and a low pH cleanser too which are super affordable. Good to check it out!

That’s it! That’s probably everything I’ll tell my little sister if I had one lol
