Should I re-read Naruto or Bleach?

I started reading and watching Naruto and Bleach a few years ago when i got into manga, but then kpop took all of my attention and I left in the middle of the series.

Now both of them have ended and I can't decide which one to continue, or if it is even worth it anymore.

Should I just read a new one? I am now reading Noblesse, but these two were a part of my teenager years. I feel like I should finish reading them, but I'm also afraid that i'll maybe get bored of it.

Read a new one

Rereading is painful warstarplz.png

True :/ And both are hella long

Well, both endings are bad so...

I would recommend Naruto since Bleach got really bad earlier

Really? :( I had high hopes for it too

Neither bc I don't like either of them harharplz.png

Any other recommendation? :)

Both of them went completely off the rails and ended poorly, so I'd advise against it unless you're just super curious.

Maybe they should've ended it sooner? That might have saved it?

I would like to recommend some but I cant say I’m a big fan of shounens warstarplz.png

Thanks anyway :)

Read One Piece instead. ohbi.png

Kingdom is the best manga I've ever read. I recommend

I'll look into it ^^ Thank you

I've seen and read both. Both endings aren't the best but with Bleach there were so many unresolved questions in the end and it felt like it ended so suddenly - very rushed ending. After the Pain arc in Naruto shippuden it goes downhill but I think Narutos ending was the opposite of bleach - it really dragged out and the war final arc was so long & annoying. I think the ending was better than Bleach though. Both animes/manga end with a time skip in the end. Btw if you end up reading all of Naruto - I recommend not watching Boruto because its too much of a kids show and kishimoto isn't even the main author of that series anymore

Assassination Classroom if you haven't read it yet.

Possibly the tightest plot from Shonen Jump where you feel like nothing is dragged for the sake of profits imo.

Sket Dance I thought was good, despite being axed.

Haikyuu is great and it paces weirdly well despite one match can go up to like half a year (?) lol.

Webtoon wise, Nano List, Bastard and some of the stuffs on Naver Webtoon are excellent. Lezhin has some great webtoons, too.

Not shonen but I love ReLife and Komi-san wa komyushou desu to death because the guy, despite being average, has good qualities that make them really likeable.

Another tip, I forgot to mention since i'm guessing you're only reading the manga- you should check out the final episodes in the Naruto anime after the war arc ends - those episodes don't appear in the manga (the manga has a different ending) but they are canon since Kishimoto wrote a book on them. I don't know if you watched the move: Naruto The Last which is also canon but the episodes after the war arc take place after that movie + shippuden anime and it's before the manga ending/Boruto anime.  I hope this didn't confuse you.

Both Naruto and Bleach had lots of issues towards the end. I would say that Bleach was better overall though, and it actually picked up towards the end. Both series suffered from making the antagonists way too powerful.

Such a great series! I still need to finish it but I've been waiting for an opportunity to read the last 20-30 chapters in a burst. The series makes me feel sentimental and even made me consider becoming a teacher.
