The thing is, this isn't the only time I've been told that but throughout my life, since I was a kid...i've been told to smile more. I didn't really understand it since I was just making my neutral face but apparently I look like I'm frowning fck! It's easier getting closer to people if you smile, but you don't have to completely chane yourself, maybe lookout if you're crunching your eyebrows, cause that might be misinterpreted as you being angry. They don't actually know the reason for your expression &/or body language, therefore it's really not their business or place. When the demand is constant, just ignore such people.
