Isn't their company under SM

kinda, SM C&C still have some shares but they don't manage their artists and don't have a say on their management unlike back when they merged. I could be wrong tho, this is still confusing to me tbh.

I still hope SM sends one of their own label group to the event. North Koreans need Red Velvet in their life as well

SM/SM C&C doesn't manage Woollim artists or their activities. From what I know, they only have stocks and handle some business/financial related things of Woollim but not the management of the artists.

It would ironic if the media meant by "and idol team from SM" a group from one of SM's partnerships.

I do believe their still managing their artists. In the new split, it says they will only handle music content as in the music they will be releasing but not anything else. No company would give someone almost complete control while still owning stocks.

If this is true, SM c&c is truly superior than sm entertainment.

I believe this yes, but there are no 'SM C&C' logo on the new INFINITE albums, it's weird.

I guess because it comes under music content in which they gave them control of. Just the music they produce for the group. SM has over 70% still, there is no way their not managing the artist when they have so much money in that.

They aren't doing the distribution. This is done by cj or loen. And since the merge is over sm only has the biggest stocks when lee jongyeop also have big stock in sm c&c. Ofc, as the biggest stock holder, they are bound to have some input.

The part i am actually not sure on is if they are a subcompany or completely separated with only sm owning the stocks. Like are they earning combined with sm like in 2015 or are they separated?
