Following reports of BIGBANG’s T.O.P being investigated, YG Entertainment has responded.

Earlier today, reports stated that the Seoul Regional Military Manpower Administration is looking into whether the release of BIGBANG’s “Flower Road†is a violation of a military rule that prohibits soldiers from engaging in additional business.

A source from YG Entertainment said, “Fans already know that ‘Flower Road’ was recorded two years ago while working on the ‘MADE’ album. This is something that was made known the general public through media reports. We don’t understand why this is being made into an issue.â€

In addition, other celebrities have released songs after enlisting as gifts to fans who have to wait for their discharge.

“Flower Road†was released on March 13 and is topping music charts all over the world. The song recently achieved a perfect all-kill as well.

Some people are so pressed of how a fan song is doing this much!

We all know most yg artists’ songs were probably recorded minimum of 1 yr before their release date. Yg likes to incubate the bops in the dungeon before releasing it to the world! :hurr:

the witch hunt is so transparent. TOP is a roly poly toy y'all assholes can't bring him down. :) good friends, money and success will follow him. :) while y'all pathetic losers will remain as you are, pathetic losers. :)

They hate because BIGBANG still really popular and managed to destroy the charts with a gift song. Right now, they only can hunt TOP because of his recent scandal. I think the more BIGBANG is being pressed , the longer their successful will hold.

Haters couldnt stand the success that is why they had to stretch for this.

There is no rule that he can't release new material during a service. Many other celebs have done this. As long he didn't do recording during service its fine.

I guess because even tho it's a old song it's unlikely the song was ready to go "as-is" in it's current status.  They still probably needed to do some touch-ups with the arrangement, vocals, etc.  which is probably why they want to investigate if TOP indeed had any participation.
