not in the choices but you should put into consideration the beast, note 3. Best android phone atm.

Yes, iphone is better in keeping contacts. Battery life is a plus too. Minus is the calandar, sometime the function will just get broken especially for people who coming from Mac.com era.

max is the M8?

the galaxy s5 is out, why do you want the s4?

Honestly I had and HTC one S and loved it and right now I'm using a galaxy Note 3 and love it too :S I guess it depends on what you plan to do with your phone? like play games or talk more? watch videos and so on

I am not trying to keep up with the Jones. S5 is basically the same phone as the S4 but with small tweaks and a changed design. The S5 will have new features I wont put to use.

The M8 is the upgraded version of the Max.

I had the S3. My only complaint would be that the lighting is awful against the sun especially compared to other phones. All I basically do is use the internet, watch YT videos and listen to music.

The iPhone is a no no. After using an android, you dont have to be an expect to realize that android smartphones are much better than iPhones. I cant stand using an iPhone. Its frustrating to me lol

I see, then I'd say go for the Note 3. the battery life is very good and the sceen is nice. they have the new charching micro usb thing that charges faster than the normal ones. (honestly I'm bad at describing this but you should seriously check youtube reviews and written ones too)

you even have a dual screen thinggy that I can't recall the name but basically you can use 2 apps at the same time (it splits your sceen in two), I dont' really use it but it's nice

honestly if people ask I'd recomend either any htc for the 'one' series or the samsung galaxy note 3

I'm currently using HTC One (2013), the first one. I'm not too sure how Max compares with S4 spec wise but I am very happy with HTC One. I like it overall. I'm not a fan of samsung interface, a lot of people I know use it so I'm quite familiar with it. HTC One's speaker is unbeatable, if that's something you look forward to. I haven't experienced any lags or anything with my phone, happy with the camera also, the angle is wide and the quality is good. I really think you should get your hands on some display sets to play around and see which one you prefer, I personally prefer the One series > Samsung galaxy series. If not, you might want to take a look at google nexus, they're cheaper but good as well. =)

Why would you even consider S5 and One Max. When One M8 and S5 are out.]

On that note, if you want to go with the trends and popularity, S5. But if you want the better phone, HTC One M8>>>>

i dont know about htc one max but htc one sucks their internal memory is so little so s4 for me

HTC One Dual Sim Edition and Max has ext slot.

Max is not M8. Max was released last October (I think). M8 is the latest HTC flagship phone.

HTC One series>>>>>Galaxy series. TouchWiz is a bleh UI. Sense>>>>

IKR? And not to mention iOS has so many restrictions. No thanks.

I'm using HTC M7 now and love it so much.  The system is so stable and it is really beautiful.

Same. I'm using the same phone (Dual Sim Edition though).

It's the exact opposite for me. After using an Android I realized how truly blessed iPhone users are tbh.

I guess you don't know how customizable Android is. It's easily one of the best OS out there and easiest for devs to work it. Like you can go to an android dev forum and you'll see how easy to work Android is.

iOS on the other hand...

S4 has really bad battery. My mom bought it not too long after it was released, and she has changed the battery for 3 times now. And it still sucks. The amount of memory IS a plus though, so if you need a lot of space and the HTC doesn't have option for an SD card...

S4 is not the best phone out there though. My mom's and friends' S4s (I know a lot of people who have one since it's popular) all have issues with the battery and that it randomly crashes. Also, I think it's overpriced (bit hypocrite to say that maybe, since I have an iPhone and that's overpriced too). HTC is actually a really good brand for a far better price. So I'd just weigh the good and bad options and read lots of reviews.
