GirlBye 27,959 Posted March 15, 2018 Share Posted March 15, 2018 with the recent sm takeover of Key East Ent. i've seen a lot of comments (both from i and k fans) saying sm is gonna ruin tv like many, i don't like companies monopolizing, but in regards to content sm has actually produced some quality tv in recent years when sm c&c first started the content they produced were pretty meh don't get me wrong but i don't know if it's people just dragging sm just b/c they are sm or what, but in the past few years they've really upped their game as far as their production goes two of the most popular variety shows right now are sm produced: Knowing Brothers Hyori's Homestay as far as dramas goes, a few of them are actually pretty good and received good feedback: Should We Kiss First is the sm produced drama airing right now. it's #1 in its time slot and knetz are enjoying it as well. they've also produced 38 Revenue Collection Unit which was the highest rated show ever on OCN when it aired (not sure if it still is) They've also produced Neighborhood Lawyer and Jealousy Incarnate which did well in ratings and got good responses from viewers yeah sm has had a lot of misses and i wish they would allow their idol-actors to grow more before giving them leads, but as far as production goes they have the ability to produce some good stuff imo i feel like, as always, the majority just go to hate because of the "SM" label just my two cents that no one asked for feel free to post edgy comments or give me your view on sm produced content Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
