Did you ever thought to Stan a large Japanese group?

I like some of the members in the 48 and 46 groups but when it comes to the whole group I'm only a fan of smaller groups like Perfume, Momoiro Clover, Sekai No Owari, Shishamo...

As for the 48 groups there are two main issues for me: 1) the size of the group 2) member graduations

My favourite members were Milky and Paruru but they both graduated, as did a lot of the other members I liked. There are still some left, but I only check up on their activities every now and then.

But so far NGT48 has shaped up quite nicely. I immediately felt for them when they debuted as McChicken NGT48, and they have interesting members like Nakai Rika and their songs and videos are good so far.

Momusu was the very first idol group I ever got into. The group was big enough at one point that they felt the need to have a song so you could figure out who everyone was. And they update it every year since lol.

Group size isn't that intimidating when you've already started with H!P lol Just take stuff in as it comes

Of course I also like Sakamichi, and I dabble in AKB every now and then.

Variety shows really help when it comes to big groups.

When I saw Ponytail and Beginner PV in 2010 I was kind of blown away by the catchiness of the songs. Then as I searched for more of their songs, I was gradually hooked onto them and was even more impressed by some of their lyrics like Beginner, River and Shonichi. However I don't really follow their variety shows and dramas, I only pay attention to the Kami 7, the songs and their live performances. (Partly due to finding subbed videos was a pain in the ass 8 years ago)

I gradually got bored of the 48 franchise when the series of graduation began in 2012 with Acchan first. When I saw Nogizaka46's debut in 2012 I was also kind of meh. Then I began to stop paying attention to the idol scene or specifically the 46/48. (I only went back during Yuko graduation song and also Green Flash) In 2013, I was hooked onto Nogizaka46's Girl's Rule! too, I was thinking to myself damn this song is catchy and the center is pretty, but I could not get myself into Nogi.

Then in 2016 when I was watching Shin Domoto Kyoudai Christmas Special and Nogi was a guest there and I was stunned by how pretty Nogi was and Sayonara no imi was a really nice song too. So I went to search for more of their songs and was hooked onto more of their songs like Shakiism, Inochi wa Utsukushii and Kidzuitara Kataomoi. When i watched 2016 Kohaku, I was blown away by Keyakizaka46's Silent Majority performance and has been following them ever since. Now, I'm still following Nogi and Keya.
