In my university town I don't really have any friends. I don't feel happy or excited about anything anymore, no matter what I try to do. Today I was supposed to meet my friends in my hometown which would have gotten me through the next week but unfortunately they couldn't make it in the end. In the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, every day at 11am, the elevator door opens and out walk 5 real ducks, who walk along a red carpet to the fountain in the middle of the lobby where they hang out until 5pm. Then at 5 o'clock sharp they all get out of the fountain, walk back along the red carpet back to the elevator and up into their penthouse suite. Just a cute little fact, I hope it cheers you up!
