YG - the company is famous for treating their artists well (especially during the time DBSK sued SM). And he was pushing the whole YG family thing. That's the reason. But that was in the time of Big Bang and 2NE1 at their peak years and as a result the peak of YG's rep, when Lee Hi, Winner and IKON were still new or upcoming and when YG's habit of broken promises and mediaplay and bad planning/time management wasn't as obvious yet (at least not to the large mass of naive fans who swallowed everything YG said and did back then).
