Krystal Oppa 121
I have a certificate that says, "not use for medico-legal purpose". I searched it up, and I'm not sure I got what it means. Does it just mean it can't be an evidence against me? I really wanna get my PWD ID so I can get discounts (we quite having a hard time rn), but I'm not sure if I can use that cerficate. Med certs are expensive af so... hahahah
blond jenissi 676
doesnt medico-legal come from medicine + law ? wait, from yahoo answers A Medical Certificate by a doctor is a document written by a professional whose medical opinion has value.Apart from giving the medical opinion and cure for the patient's illness, the certificate can (and may) also be produced in court , in support of legal cases. If the certificate says "Non-Medico Legal purpose", then the doctor wishes merely to give his medical diagnosis, but does not want it to be produced as a legal evidence in court. Daria~ 13,886
Medico-legal basically means the legal implications of medical practice. ie what a medical personal can and can’t be sued for.

Eucharis 711
It means that it's a plain medical certificate, and cannot be used in court.
