Article[Official] B1A4 Sandeul reps, "He is not the idol targeted in the #metoo confession... we will take legal action against false rumors"

Source: OSEN via Naver

1. [+2,064, -40] The right course of action is coming out with an immediate statement like this if you're not the person in question. I'm all for the #metoo movement and outing all the trash in society but we shouldn't let people abuse the movement to bring false rumors upon others. Trying to ruin someone's career by falsely dumping a #metoo confession on them is a crime in itself.

2. [+1,692, -31] Well that was fast ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

3. [+1,375, -21] I like it when agencies work fast

4. [+887, -15] I'm surprised that WM came out with a statement so fast, they're normally not like this...

5. [+315, -6] I trusted that it wasn't him... I'm not a fan but I always got a kind, innocent impression from him

1. [+289, -9] This is the problem with anonymous confessions, you run the risk of innocent people being blamed

2. [+210, -4] I'd feel so gross if I was named in one of these when it's not me ã…¡ã…¡ if you're going to confess at all, release the name instead of creating another victim out of this

3. [+170, -2] He must feel so gross

4. [+17, -3] F*ck, just release the name..

5. [+15, -0] Don't participate in #metoo if you're not going to release the name

6. [+13, -5] I think it's super selfish of the victim to remain anonymous and make all these confessions without even naming a specific person because it creates all sorts of victims in its path like this

7. [+11, -4] Both parties need to release names

8. [+10, -0] Definitely not Sandeul! B1A4 is a group that has never had a scandal!

I wish! They had that Sajaegi scandal in like 2014 with Lonely, but I think that is about it.

I am a Bana and knowing how Sandeul is, he isn't this type of person.

Also, I am really glad that WM was fast about this cause it could have gotten ugly so quick!

I am totally understanding of why the victims wouldn't want to release names but at the same time, it's not fair for innocent people to get named and have their reputation trashed as well. Too many people are taking advantage of this whole thing for their own entertainment which is sickening af.

The description was fairly close to him (the year is like, the only thing off) so I was hoping WM would say something soon.

How was he even a name he didn’t debut until 2011

This name throwing shit has to stop

The English translation was wrong, that's how he was a name. The article actually said the idol debuted in the early 2010s, so 2010,2011,2012 debuts all included.

He and random idols shouldn’t be harrassed without proof.

But it’s also not ‘selfish’ of victims to not explicitly state names, fuck off honestly

I understand the victims not stating names IF they also dont release clues like initial, vocal in the group, debuted in 2010, etc, what's the point of releasing clues if not for people to guess based on these clues? :derp:

Edit : i was wrong, it was the media who released these clues

what the victim could do is when an accused name came up, she could release statement saying he is not the one (if the person is innocent)

don't just stop at making the initial claim. take responsibility too if innocent name got dragged because of her accusation

this is my opinion

I obviously dont know Sandeul other than what ive seen on tv shows, but come on.. really? Sandeul?? He looks nothing like those kind of people. There need to be some regulations on this movement and everything else where people just point out random idols cause they want to play fbi and think its funny when actually they are damaging someone's career.

What I’ve gathered is that it’s the news agencies who exploit this and add their own spin to try and make it a ‘juicy’ guessing game. It’s insulting to everyone all around but they want their clicks.

edit: I mean it’s the media trying to make a fuss of everything, in case I wasn’t clear
