I haven't been following this "controversy" very tightly but I did see the "stereotypes are not necessarily offensive" debate and such. I did see some defending and it's ok. We want to defend our faves and our opinions.

what i dont understand is that she didnt do it just for the fucking sake of it, it wasnt just because, she got asked to imitate both races so like people saying "girl should have learnt since the first time" and shit like that doesnt even makes sense.

Both imitations were dumb but she didnt do it randomly and with any ill intent so anyone calling her racist can just stfu.

I rolled my eyes the first time at this crap and I'm rolling my eyes now.

 

It is fucking common sense to know that not all white or black women talk like that but I guess Wendy, being a normal person, didn't think she had to clarify that for the loud ass entitled obnoxious minority of international internet fans who hurl racism accusations at the drop of a hat.

I like her but it was wrong. She should have known better than think that imitating black ppl stereotype is a talent...specially since she is from Canada herself.
