it depends on which family member and what the crime is.

i only like my parents, siblings and grandpa, so as far as that goes i'd tell on my grandmother, aunts, and nieces in a second. but if it was those i do get along with, and it's something small i'd keep my mouth shut. however, violence and anything in that category or stealing something very valuable i would probably tell on them. just because they are family doesn't mean that i will tolerate crime that i think is not done with someone else either.

Depends on what the crime is... im the type of person who cares about people in general so you can probably expect me not to tell on even people i dont know if nobody was hurt...

 

Rule of thumb is if anyone kill somebody im probably telling. If they just shoplift ill look down on them but dont want to ruin their life with my own hands for that sorry. I'll leave that to the store keepers to catch them.
