I think I actually mentioned this in a post talking with someone on how to avoid a stalker, but ironically, my stalker found me again. After three years of peace I am back to be hunted. Sorry if this is rambling its 2 am and I can't sleep here. I just had to change my number this afternoon because my stalker went to my family's church and got into the registry there by charming the priests and found my phone number and called me up like it was nothing. I'm actually worried this person will show up to my house. Yes, I've gone to the police, many many times before. Has anyone ever been stalked before? Can you relate? Can you send me good vibes? As I want to send you good vibes, please protect yourself OP. Have a hidden weapon with you at all times. Buy pepper spray. Try to never be alone. OhGosh! 1,855 Posted March 1, 2018 Share Posted March 1, 2018 Yes. I got stalked by some guys from reddit who managed to figure out where I work and started calling me there and harassing me. One of them even told me he was going to kill me and my parents. I had to drop all of my social media, my email, have a super awkward conversation with my boss, move to a new apartment, etc, and I'm just now getting back online again after hiding for months. The police couldn't help me, either. I don't have much to offer besides understanding what you're going through, and best wishes that they're stopped this time. Nobody should have to go through anything like this. It's probably even worse with it being a family member, since you should be able to trust them the most. I hope things get better for you. I hope you are doing well now too it's such a difficult thing to go through. Things have been alright for awhile now. My case isn't as bad as yours because it wasn't personal... which sounds weird considering the lengths they went to (and that death threats were involved), but I'm positive it only happened because I was dumb enough to post in GW with something visible that identified me and some people decided they wanted to be shitty and racist. It wasn't actually about me. So I assume they moved on and are making someone else's life hell, or maybe they're dead in a ditch someplace and the world is better for it. I can't really get into the details because it was a long (really long) court case ... but this woman was ordered to stay away from me and my siblings. Buy pepper spray, learn self-defense moves, and try not to be by yourself when you can. Be extra careful at night. Make sure your doors and windows are locked and secured. Let your friends and family and maybe neighbors know about the situation. Maybe let your close ones know if you send a certain message or signal that seems out of place, it is because you might be in physical danger. I'm on a (good quality) burner cell that I only use online (no social media) and a used cheap phone I can toss with no regrets if I am caught again.
