She also happens to live near the area where I live so I go on sleepovers once a month. Sometimes I'd sleep over at hers and she'd sleep over at mine the next time. Then in high school, one of my roommates and I went to each other places for some days. My parents never liked me going to stay at someone's house. They never wanted me to bother that person's parents. Or maybe they didn't trust me with having enough manners. This is one of the very few things my parents restricted me to do.
