I agree about the song. It sounds like something anyone could record. The other ones made a stronger impression on me.

 

If you're referring to the girl in the middle group with pigtails, that's Hinata Kashiwagi (still present and accounted for). That would have been some growth spurt if it was Kaho laugh.png This MV came out in 2012 and Kaho didn't join Ebichu until 2013. I think Butterfly effect was her first single and MV.

On Kawakami's Loincloth it was revealed that Momoclo's contract with King Records expired at the end of March, so they were free lancers/indies in April 0u0plz.png

As soon as they noticed they signed a new contract

People in the comments were saying that it reminds them of Neo Stargate. If Neo Stargate and Kyoukai no Pendulum had a baby, it would be this song. I hope we get a live performance.

 

Speaking of Kyoukai no Pendulum, I just found another ZZ version uploaded by Reni Mania from Momoclo Mania. It's one of those songs that needs to be performed with a live band to really be appreciated. This is also the first time I've seen them perform it as four, and they don't miss a step.

iirc, she announced her summer tour a little while ago, but I didn't realize she's playing at all the Zepp concert halls around Japan. That's pretty impressive for her first year as a solo artist. I hope we get a single while she's on tour.

This makes me curious about who they hired for these videos...

It seems like it's the same producer, Sugai Hitoshi, behind all of them. Different directors though.

I also didn't know she was performing in every Zepp, I'm impressed. I'm expecting new music announcements during the tour.

Now that I can see how the final badge looks, it might have turned out better without the text at the bottom. If we ever get another Awards Season, I'd probably remove the text and just use the planet symbol. Still happy to have the badge though!

 

When you brought up who's directing the new MVs, I got an idea that they could have held a contest for aspiring filmmakers. Allot of people are probably going to ignore these since the members aren't featured. It would have been a good way to generate more interest and the contest would probably get allot of coverage. Oh, well.

Kanako and Shiori also recently appeared on TV shows, and soon Reni will appear on a TV show. The episode will apparently be about a Poop Museum 0u0plz.png

The new MVs seem to have been something of a last minute decision. Just a few days ago King revealed that the The Show MV would be out on the 20th but today it was revealed that it'll be out tomorrow (presumably MV production/editing went quicker than expected).

from that video saved. It's the same section that was used in the gif. In the comments, fans kept pointing out how similar the two of them are, which was basically the whole point of the video. It's also just like you said about Kyoko being the jealous one. That gif you posted up above must be fan edit, because I'm pretty sure Kanako isn't in the audience. Changes the context a bit.

 

In the YouTube comments, one person said "even though Shiorin's on a date Kyo-chan, she can't help mentioning Kanako", lol. Another person said "Unlike Kanako, Shiorin does things like this on her days off". I remembered that Kanako said she doesn't have any days off. It's all work for the Leader.

Looks like notifications are off again...

 

Kanako seems like a workaholic. She might actually do fun things now and then, but just keeps it to herself.

 

Some songs have been hit or miss, but overall, I'm really happy with what we got as well. That's how it goes sometimes. You can't always judge each song individually. It's not until you hear them collected together that you get the full experience. There's also some gems among the new songs, so they help round out the album. It still feels like they're missing a couple "big" sounding songs, but that's a minor complaint. The new album might be their most experimental to date. It's something they said they wanted to do last year, so I'm happy they were able to fulfill that desire.
