(Sorry for the bad quality but NBC owns the copyright of the video and there's barely any videos of his performance on YouTube. You can watch a clearer video on the link and read the whole news article on his story.)

He got a late call telling him he got in by the Olympic Committee. He a month or two to prepare, while the rest are constant training for it. Yes, the level of degree is very low compared to the other well choreographed and I noticed he was very stiffed, but the guy stopped training in September. Dude gave it all and he felt like a winner. I think that's a win in my book.

He did his best with the time he had and we should be glad that he was able to compete for the Philippines again. I wish the best of luck to him for whatever he decides to do after this.

Ok and? Did I wrote down and claim I was an Olympic judge giving out medals?

no but your original post was totally full of excuses.

he lost. no need to shower him with insincere weak praise about effort.

if he was unprepared and only had a month or 2 of training, then maybe he should have let someone else who was actually prepared take the spot? he didn't have to say "yes". Might as well not show up if your intent is to show "effort" if thats all it takes to please the filipino people. not you know, winning.

Lol, I know he lost. But, what's wrong with giving him praise for his effort despite the low quality performance he did? No one is gonna pass the opportunity when one gets offered a deal like this. So bye and you get off of your high horse.

go right ahead and praise him. doesn't mean i still can't tell you that its stupid as hell. "trying" isn't an accomplishment sweetie. especially if its done in the most asinine circumstances.

"No one is gonna pass the opportunity when one gets offered a deal like this."

so if they offered you an opportunity, would you take a spot at the olympics knowing you can't do jack shit? and then proceed to make your country look bad? that right there is some bad logic.

I'm on a high horse just because i don't agree with your excuses and false praise? lol okay...
