Lee Joon’s agency Prain TPC has released an official statement denying all reports that the actor had attempted to commit suicide.

Seoul Shinmun released a report alleging that Lee Joon had spoken to a superior officer and shown them his wrist, informing them that he had tried to commit suicide. He was then reportedly taken to the army’s “Green Camp†program, an educational program for soldiers who are having a difficult time adjusting to military life.

Following the report, Prain TPC released an official statement denying the allegations and stated, “The reports that Lee Joon showed a superior officer his wrist and said that he had attempted to commit suicide, or that he is currently in the ‘Green Camp’ program, are completely false. We have confirmed that these reports are untrue through Lee Joon’s family.â€

They also stated, “Lee Joon’s family is very shocked by the original reports that were published, and we ask that media outlets refrain from covering the reports out of respect for Lee Joon and his family.â€

Lee Joon enlisted in October 2017 and has since been assigned to the 8th Battalion with a commendation of excellence from his basic military training program. He is set to be discharged on July 23, 2019.

but stuff like this doesnt just come out of nowhere does it? and not like the army or his agency would confirm it if true

if he went to his officer and showed his hurt wrists, he really  really needs help... and that is a sign that he's asking for help so people cheering that it got denied doesnt sit right with me.

im not too sure about this denial and im very worried

This is bad.

How could a rumour like that come out, especially since he is in the military?? I really hope it is just that, a rumour. It's kind of sketchy when you think of it. Very detailed too. I'm not sure who to believe tbh ohdearplz.png
When I think of the way the army (police unit, but still) dealt with TOP...

I hope his agency is telling the truth. I would understand if they weren't because it's something that shouldn't be told to the public. But I really hope he didn't do that unsure.png

I hope he's okay. His family and friends too. It must have been such a shock. I

And it's been almost two months too...

if it's true, confirming it would get him hate

like top got more hate for his suicide attempt than he did for the weed scandal because they thought he was trying to escape enlistment

by killing himself.. sigh

It's so unfortunate that the first thing some people think of when it comes to celebrities is "How can I get paid for leaking this information".  I hope these reports were false, but even if they weren't, the soldiers involved should be punished for even leaking such sensitive information.   Why are they so okay with possibly causing more harm to someone who is already going through a tough time mentally by calling the press?  If it were true, Joon obviously wants to live or he wouldn't have gone to show them what he'd done.  He would have in that case known that he needed help.

I know, right?

And not even the public but the way the police/military handled it too, waiting several HOURS before taking him to the hospital, trying to hide it. And then telling the media he was "just sleeping". I can't even explain how mad I am. Still now.

What would the public say for Lee Joon? It's not like he did anything wrong. Would they accuse him of trying to avoid military service by... what? dying? What kind of bullshit is that?

One would think after Jonghyun, mental health and the way the media reports (or refrains from reporting) it would get sliiiightly better? But no. No. Keep pushing people under the bus. Keep making it a joke. It's fine, really.

I am so, so mad right now. Whether it's true or not. (but I hope it's not).

If it is true, then at least Joonie decided to ask for help and it is a great thing. I really hope it is all made up, but he has known mental health issues and because of that I never feel completely at ease even when I see him smile or in this case, even if the company denies these rumors. He is a really nice and special person, I wish I could be there and protect him. I know these allegations must give him a hard time.
