Twitter LOONAtics, please come in...

So if you're a LOONA stan and you're active on twitter, chances are you know of the fandom civil unrest between soft/protect/'non-messy' LOONAtics and the usually (but not always) gay/outspoken/troll-ish LOONAtics who aggressively promote LOONA under almost every tweet.

What's your opinion on the whole thing?  Who's side are you on? I'm on the fence because while the trolls are kind of obnoxious, they are bringing a lot of attention and promo to LOONA, which is a good thing.

Discuss.

Wtf with that "gay" :wth:

I am of the opinion that fans are individual human beings and no one should police how someone else behaves on a social media platform. They don't owe anyone anything.

Personally I like the outspoken aggressive part of the twitter fandom. They are funny as hell and keep me entertained. That's stan twitter for you. Better than fighting other stans that's for sure.

just saw a screenshot of LOONA troll tell a rape victim it wouldn't have happened if she stanned LOONA.

And it made me disgusted, so definitely on the side of the non- trolls.

I think there's also a difference between obnoxiously promoting your faves and being a horrible awful disgusting human being under the guise of "all publicity is good publicity".

I was gonna expand on that actually; I've seen some protect LOONA stans tweet some pretty homophobic things towards the gay LOONAtics, as if they feel like they're 'tainting the fandom'.

It's disgusting.

Agreed. I have also seen one of these tweets taking jabs at them and it honestly disgusts me. Let people do what they want. It is just music gdi!

I don't know how people can have a twitter, even when I was younger I thought it was just plain dumb so no wonder people act like that. So my intake is that I'm glad not to have one as people get so silly in there and the best course of action would be to simply ignore obnoxious people.

loona promo under unrelated tweets doesn't bother me, actually thanks to that I was able to listen girl front and other loona songs, I still don't care about loona but that has helped them to get more fans, which it's good, my only issue is when trolls start replying to tweets about serious topics like r*pe, death, suic*de, etc with stuff like Stan loona, -insert a clip of kimlip- that's just tasteless and makes people not get into loona because of the fandom.
