Jeong Won 126 Posted March 7, 2018 Share Posted March 7, 2018 I think majority of Filipinos doesn't feel any strong resentment towards Spain. We just view it as a country that once colonized us. We know we've been captives for a long time (333 years) and within those years the Spaniards did us dirty. But haven't met anyone that feels indifference towards them or the country. We are taught a lot about history and we know the anomalies and the cruelty of the Spanish government, but what it caused to us emotionally is the patriotism to our country not hatred towards any nation.
