So I know so many cases that are exactly like this at my university

Fact is that there are more straight than gay people and at my university all the gay men have a better love life than the straight ones + they are at the top of the university students for grades

My best friend is lesbian and she had more girls than 3 of my close straight friends boys had in the last year

I'm kinda happy because of the fact that people are stopping hiding themselves and it gives me hope to the future tbh

The answer to your scenario...we have different ideas on what constitutes a "better" love life. For me a good love life means long-term security and trust in my partner and of my partner in me, not jumping from person to person.

No, its not weird at all, but I don't think there is any correlation in that. It depends on their own lifestyle in their relationship, tbh, and what you can see from them isn't really what their entire relationship really is. What you saw was what they choose to show to the public from their relationship.
