Saint Ren 4,272 Posted February 8, 2018 Share Posted February 8, 2018 I started watching S1 of This Is Us back in November after everyone nagged me to watch it, I've made it up to S2 Episode 2, mainly because there's nothing better on tv to watch when I'm bored but damn I'm officially annoyed by this show. What is wrong with Kevin & Kate ?! Seriously Kevin's been an ass to Randall his entire life, like does this guy ever sort his shit out and actually treat his brother nice in a single moment in the past? Kate is just so mean to her Mum, like so so so mean her Dad indulged her crap way too much and I'm so sick of her storyline just being about her weight, they spent an entire season on it, dear Lord, move on! Toby is weird, just weird. Jack is too perfect, even with the alcohol issues he's too perfect and they dragged on how he dies for far too long, I actually don't care anymore. I loved Rebecca and then she pulled that crap with William and I can't get over it and it's freaking weird that she's with Miguel. If its not for you just stop watching it The acting is awesome, the writing is pretty basic. I'll probably stop watching, I can't put up with anymore Kevin/Kate crap, I'm pretty sure this show is going to give Kevin the same issue that Jack had with alcoholism and make Sophie Rebecca 2.0 and Kate will forever talk about her weight, she'll get married to Toby and discuss her weight, she'll get pregnant and discuss her weight, she'll give birth and go on and on about her weight. That's nut's but thanks for the info, I'm done with the show, it was suppose to be a show about a family, kind of like Parenthood and instead it's about seriously dysfunctional people who apart form Randall and Beth treat each other like crap. Kate I'm indifferent Beth and Randall are cute but can be annoying in season 2 I watched S1 there was no explanation for Kevin's awful behaviour to Randall, he felt ignored by his parents was the reason given and apart from that one moment where Randall was having a panic attack and the pool incident, that's never shown and those 2 incidents are not enough to justify the pure hate that Kevin feels towards Randall from age 8. Jack went to both their football games and every other thing they had, they were treated pretty much equally. The only person Kevin has ever treated decently was Sophie and he cheated on her and destroyed their marriage. Jack is too perfect, like the Thanksgiving episode with the cabin, I rolled my eyes throughout the whole thing. I've always liked Rebecca and then she denied William access and lied about him to Randall his entire life, I can't get passed that. I am way too invested in characters that I dislike . I actually liked the start, it was awesome and then they just carried on with the same plot, Kate with her weight, Kevin being a crap brother, Rebecca and Randall / Beth kept me watching, I loved all the William drama but by episode 13 I started skipping through the rest of the Pearsons.
