The judging was absolutely bizarre today. What a mess.

Maia and Alex aren't at the level of the Canadian or French pairs, but they have been consistently underscored and it's so frustrating. Especially on their short, which is one of the strongest out there. What the hell?

Japan tried to come through, lmao. Interesting that Ukraine gave the Shibs the highest score, but Chock/Bates an even higher one.

The US scoring the Shibs lower than Hubbell/Donahue lowkey infuriates me, ngl.

How come figure skating isn't like some other sports such as moguls (turns and deductions) and snowboarding slopestyle where they drop the lowest and highest scores?

Some judges give such extremely different scores.

It is! It just isn't denoted here.

I'm not an Ice Dancing expert but I don't like Tessa and co. as much as the other Canadian teams that I've seen.

Anyway it's still been all around entertaining and engaging though.

In general I've just been watching all the events this time even the obscure and random ones.

Oh that's good especially given all of the controversy surrounding the judging of the sport.
