I haven't watched either but the storyline sounds like the real life story of my paternal grandparents. They got divorced then met again, fell in love all over again and remarried and remained married until my grannies death. Just thought I'd share that little gem.

I already finished Cunning Single Lady while Emergency Couple, the last episode, i didn't watch it yet.

 

If talking about the show, about the plot, or the story, I think these 2 dramas are just average...I can't say which drama is better...

 

Yes, it has the same plot, however, you know about the thing called 'chemistry'? I think 'Emergency Couple' have that... Ji Hyo and Jin Hyuk have that... They have that 'giggle' factor when you are watching them...

 

Joo Sang Wook and Lee Ming Jung, on the hand, only have a little of that.. 

 

So, based on 'chemistry,' Emergency Couple is better...

 

But the 2 shows are good.. but not great...

SPOILER!!! You haven't finished that drama, right? If you don't want to know the ending, please don't open the spoiler! Or you might kill me. Some people I shared spoilers (who loves drama0 got mad at me, so, i'm just warning...

 

 

 

- Chae Jeong Woo resigned while developing a new game that will be released. The game had problems.

- Na Ae Ra also hand over her resignation letter.

- The whole company found out that Na Ae Ra is Cha Jeong Woo's ex-wife.

- Cha Jeong Woo proposed and Na Ae Ra said 'yes'...

 

Thats only few but you must check the whole last episode...

Oh wow! It's actually my first time hearing something like this in real life. You should watch it, you can totally relate to both dramas. :)

I was going to watch CSL but never got around to it. I was not happy with EC's finale. Chief and Ji-Hye don't really end up together and their final scene is… nothing. Changmin and Ji-hye just end up kissing and that's it, meh. There was kinda resolution with Areum and Young-gyu but not really.

 

The ending was bad. I would've preferred one of those generic endings where it fast forwards one year and everyone is super happy.

Cunning Single Lady!

 

The plot was all over the place and it had a lot of holes and unfinished storylines, but it stayed true to what it was and who the main characters were. It was a rom-com plain and simple and it kept interested and entertained. CSL also had one of the best endings for the most adorable OTP ever! Loved it!! I started off loving Emergency Couple, but it got a little too melo in the middle and wasn't as fun or funny as when it first started. I still haven't finished the last 5 episodes yet...I get around to it

Cunning Single Lady wins just because the show stayed far away from even entertaining any of that second lead detour bullshit that I hate. Although I'm not sure why Ae Ra and Jung Woo had to tell Seung Hyun and Yeo Jin, respectively, that they weren't into them 6 billion times. But I'm glad they did, and they did it in a way that couldn't be waved away either.

 

I was very happy that instead of seeing them make up for misunderstandings that we could actually see the endgame couple be cute and fall in love again. Also good job on the kiss.
