[For people still in school] Do you pack your own lunch, or buy lunch at school?

In my entire 9 grades of school I've gone through, I've bought lunch only 4 or 5 times. I generally don't eat cafeteria food bc I'm REALLY picky with my food. Anything that tastes super processed or is super greasy makes me real queasy. Only things I buy these days are fruit snacks or a Gatorade from the snack bar.

Since I was in 1st grade (6yo) I've been given money to buy food

I pack lunch to school. Food in college is not cheap. It does save a lot of money packing my own food.

i always found my school food gross and i hate having to eat with tons of people in the canteen, it just gets messy and gross in there

From elementary school to high school I usually packed my own lunch. Now in university, I...kinda don't eat lunch. Usually, I try eating beforehand during the morning and eat when I come home after a full day. 

 

Time by time I buy a snack or a smoothie. First year uni I used to pack a lunch all the time though.

i've packed food since 8th grade mainly because school cafeteria food where I come from is a huge mess, it's just oily and gross. if you pack lunch, you know exactly what's in it. also I like taking my time eating.

pack it most of the time. i did the same in HS and it just kept on- i am not a fan of college food at all.

I dont eat lunch at school, dont have any food to pack and ever since michelle obama requested the children be healthy we have horrible tasting food
