we could probably get started doing a voting thread for the group badge since we finally have a nice quality pic of the logo

 

tho we should wait a bit to do badges for the boys so they can hopefully have some photoshoots and stuff so we could get better material for those who don't have a badge yet

 

we should probably also see who actually has a badge rn so we know how many CAFs we'll end up needing

 

We have talked about this before. From what I gathered:

Jun -> exists

Euijin -> none (CAF: Shiny)

Hojung -> exists

Feeldog -> none

Marco -> none (CAF: JMVOK)

Hansol -> none

Daewon -> none

Kijoong -> none

Chan -> is being voted atm

 

Shiny last time said she has 1 CAF for Euijin, you have 1 for Marco. So we still need 4 CAFs right now. Well we can wait until the official photoshoot of the boys come out.

While gathering these data it made me realized how nugu some of the boys are that they don't have any badges despite debuting for a few years already rlytearpls.png

So Chan would be coming for K-Rush on March 16th!

So I guess the answer of who would come on the show would be A or B. B would be a lit combo though.

My idea for the group badge is for the badge background to have the same shade like Unit B writing or blue shade in The Unit writing

It's especially interesting to see how the members who are the youngest in their original group act now that they are no longer the youngest in UNB.

This states that the start of their contract is Feb 25th.

So their exclusive contract would end on Sep 25th, and their whole contract would end on March 25th 2019. Possible extension to 12 months with at least 49 days activities if they're extending it.

 

 

maybe its possible to manage both. Comeback, 2-3 weeks on music shows (I think this is enough)  then japan fanmeets. Maybe rest of dates are all spread out and it leaves room for enough domestic schedules in between. they might be spread out until late September until when exclusive part of contract lasts.

They can record every TV show they can possible appear starting from late March, isn't it possible? them doing 3 day fanmeet at the end of April will get in the way? at least for now other dates are not confirmed, I don't think this announcement is already a  statement that they won't be promoted well domestically. what matters is quality promo. What's considered as strong domestic promos like example of who for boygroups so I can compare.

I'm staying hopeful now. obviously all of them need heavy korean promotions but making money aint bad either if they can fit in both.

 

I reallllllly hope they're actually planning to do this instead of cramping up all of overseas tour dates in the end of April or the beginning of May. I really hope they will do their domestic promo well.

Hope it's not the same dorm KBS used to dorm them during missions because usually most survival shows contestants hate to go back to the mission place once they're done with the show lol

Maybe they'll film reality show tomorrow? Who knows.

I think getting 1 million views in 1 week sounds the most feasible. Let's get it.

 

 

So I just took a listen to WannaOne’s new song I.P.U, and I feel like UNB would do really well with a similar concept and song. Bright, performance base but with good vocal points, and a upbeat dance track aka beagle song central.

 

While I do want them to do sorta bright song, I'm also not so sure due to them being veterans with some age for some of them. I.P.U has more youthful vibe, which has been covered by Wanna One and actually suits them better. So if UNB goes to bright route, maybe it's better for them to do something more mature? Like Unit B's Question maybe. Or something around that.

Due to their lineup, I also think maybe BTS style or JBJ style of songs would suit them to not show their weakness in vocal much, because the songs focus more on being catchy and the rap-vocal ratio is 50:50. This group has plenty of rappers anyway.

The drama seems to be pretty heavy and melodramatic wew.

With Jun shooting for a May drama, I hope it means UNB wouldn't be shipped to overseas so early.

BTW if no one has volunteered to be OP for the group badge, I'm always willing to do it! We'd just need another CAF since I've already pledged mine to the Marco badge.

I can donate won to purchase it but I don't have any CAF with me.

Seeing the history of previous MBC weekend special drama, it seems likely for Jun's drama to be around 24-50 episodes. Which might means UNB would be tied at Korea for a while because of this, since there's no way they would tour without their #1 guy especially considering he's one of the main pillar of UNB's vocal. It's a good news for me because that means UNB might promote properly at Korea for a while instead of clumping all overseas tour in the end of April-May. Since the drama would air on May and would be going on for a while. Maybe the overseas tour would indeed be spreaded out until the end of the contract. I hope so.

 

I wonder if KBS is letting MBC casted Jun in their drama and uses it as a bargaining chip to let UNB appears on Music Core and other MBC shows, lmao. Yes please.

It's a preview from Marco's fansite, of them going to K-Rush. Seems like they're recording something here. Might be for future release?

And since UNB went to K-Rush together, seems like they have dormed together indeed

KBS is messing up at handling the PR. They even made it into a quiz. They should've given a notice beforehand that Chan couldn't attend when they're announcing the winners yesterday instead of like this.
